It's awesome to find other people who like yokai watch!! (Mostly, because it's super rare than ever to find people who like it-- due to, with how the game sales are low and etc)

Me too (:!! I remb first watching it when it first aired on American TV (Disney XD) and been watching it since! It aired 2014/2015-ish? So that's quite a long time for me to watch a series, as I get a low attention span on things like that, so Yokai watch completely changed a lot!! And it's a wonderful show, it's helping me a lot with childhood!
Understandable, it's a very nice show that I think everyone would enjoy, no matter what age, so seeing how low the fans are is kinda sad, maybe one day, more people will enjoy it!

people seem more invested in a show that gets serious plot threads and such, which I do like, but Yokai is a nice fun breath of slice of life I think a lot of shows are missing... not taking everything so seriously!
I do like a show that's skit based, too. For quick entertainment its supppper fun.

That is also true,, a lot of people do like shows with 'mature' feelings,
things that are more 'relate-able' it seems.
Makes sense, because while there's 'teens' and social media,'
adult shows are more popular because it's more 'open' and isn't 'sugar' coated as much.

you don't have to take everything maturely or immaturely, it's just in the middle!!

Also, there were around 60 to 90 scrapped or redesigned Pokemon, one of which is my icon here on dA. The one in question is named Ikari (In Japanese) and Anchorage (In English). Since you know a bit about Japanese I figure you'd already be aware the English name is a pun on the Japanese one, but I'll explain it anyways: "Ikari" is a Japanese word which has two different meanings depending on spelling, which are anger/rage and Anchor (Like on a ship), and the meaning is determined by the characters used to spell it, although the pronunciation is the same for both versions. I love Anchorage and he's my absolute favorite Pokemon overall. He evolves from an adorable ocean sunfish called Sunmola1 which is such a little cinnamon roll you wouldn't believe!
