I love to be creative in every way possible. Scratch that, I need to be creative. Every day. Or else I get crabby. I paint with oils, watercolors, and once, shoe polish. I experiment with light and mixed media – I will use anything as long as it can make something. Old guitar strings, collected feathers, magazine clippings, matchboxes, beetroots. Photography fascinates me and you might find me in unexpected places with a camera, trying to bend and wring out colors, playing with pareidolia. I write a lot, poetry, short stories, songs, and that gorram novel I’ve been working on for four years now. My characters are as real to me as the unfurling of ferns or the smell of cinnamon in carrot cake. I fall in love with them only to end up heartbroken upon realizing they are fictional. It is my aspiration to be a published author so I can have them break other people’s hearts, too.
Sometimes, things are a bit shitty. Fair enough, we’ve all been there. It’s the art, and the music, and the writing that keeps me going, like a big duvet you wrap yourself in when you’re sick, that you wear all day as you shuffle around the house like a blanket caterpillar. It’s going to get me through this year (also, internet). I try to capture the things that are meaningful and rejuvenating, because they are the difference between plain being alive and actually living and making something of oneself. I dunno, I’m rambling. Get me some tea.
I like nerds, hippies, poets, bohemians, musicians, artists, chefs, writers, and anyone who will sing along and knows the lyrics whenever I randomly burst into song (which is often). I love Glee (at least the first seasons), cooking, playing guitar, blowing bubbles, and hugs.

Thanks for collecting
My Artist The first thing I ever saw was her thoughtful face, pondering over me. I didn't smile. I couldn't move. I barely had any life in me at all...I was so stagnant and flat. Yet somehow I was starting to live. I must have been very vivid in her brain.
The next time she drew me, I was in a much more dynamic pose. That was more like it. I could feel a personality shifting and taking form. I wondered who I was.
My hair got longer on the next page - a bit more wavey - and my eyebrows got a teensy bit sassier. My eyes were the favorite, though. She spent so long on each one, getting them just right. How thankful I was that she always sketched them first; I got to watch her draw the rest of me. Her forehead wrinkled and nose flared when she was most concentrated. She would let out sighs and little gibberish noises with her lips whenever she erased part of me. But whenever something was right, like a special flare in my ! Hope you enjoy.
