Hello Dear! I have not talked to you in quite some time I must say. I do miss that, I was always fond of the conversations we would strike up (You, Alyssa, (Maureen),and me). I do sincerely hope things are going wonderful for you. I will see you at STATE if nothing else. Also, I can never tell you how much I love your writing, it never gets old, no matter how many times I read it.

I also wanted to tell you that I admire you a lot. You are one person on this earth that I could say I envy maybe a little. You are always so bold and have the intelligence to go behind it. You also speek your mind with brilliant consequence. I always wished I could be more like that but alas...I guess it didn't really work out, yet. That's a whole other story though Well, best of luck and as always lots of love.

~your dear friend

My dear friend,

I just stumbled upon this message in the middle of this rather craptastic week, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Your kind words are the only light I've had in a while, and I thank you quite sincerely. You're are rather remarkable as well, don't ever convince yourself otherwise.

Lots of love, from your friend as well.

On your behalf I resent any notion that you are good writer "for a sixteen year old."

I have taken enough courses with people who think they are Gods of writing to know that age has nothing to do with such talent, and to 'compliment' you on your "decent understanding of form" and offer well wishes for your "development" is a back handed comment like no other.

Words are funny things that you can make something like "I'm better than you" into such a show.

Devinia101 [2008-03-23 22:23:56 +0000 UTC]

For a 16 year old, you have amazing writing skill and a wonderfully diverse vocabulary. You also have a very decent understanding of the form of writing. I hope the best for you and the development of your skill, which i don't doubt will go smoothly!

Hahaha! Alyssa, my dearest. You complete me. But I'll shun you forever if you post my awful awful poem online. At least let me revise it first, eh? My reputation as a respectable writer shall be tarnished forever! Aye dios mio, ya cheap whore.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aleire In reply to MsCellanea [2008-02-16 08:50:06 +0000 UTC]

Ha! There will be no revision allowed my dear. Now your reputation as a writer will reflect your pennies-an-hour morals and other cheap, whoreish ways.

You should go to the Mercury Cafe and do some dancing there sometime... it'd be an upgrade from your usual pole. Unfortunately Mr. Invisible wouldn't fit in very well - you'd have to find another dance partner... but I'm sure you can think of someone

Have a wonderful night my history buddy(I'm sure your is just beginning) and very sweet dreams.

How about this: If you refrain from posting that poem online, I'll get you some buisness cards with your number on them and pass them out to everyone. It'll be an upgrade from having it scrawled on every bathroom wall, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, I think Eddie and I were trying to get a Mercury group together for next week. Friday nights are tango! Yay! Not as much fun as swing, but still amazing. And you're coming. I know, I know, it'll be strange for you to not get paid to dance, but you'll be fine, I promise. The way you dance, I'm sure you'll make a few cents by the end of the night. And besides, I don't know what you're talking about. I won't have much of a dance partner, but I'm sure a whole group of men will slide you some pennies and you'll be just fine.

DO WE HAVE A TEST TODAY?

Oh this is indeed a mess. I didn't even know where to comment back, honestly. Good thing you already think I'm cool or I'd be done for.

I don't much like Ingrid, actually. I think an Ingrid would be kind of a bitch. But perhaps not...

I'll have to agree-- if you weren't so damn cool in the first place, I just wouldn't be able to talk to you after you deface my page as such. How awful.

Really? I'm rather partial to it, actually. Maybe Ingrid would be a bitch, but at least she'd be interesting. I can't imagine someone named Ingrid being boring.

How's Larry, that lucious and loveable lass?

I hope you're editing until your fingers fall off. I can't wait to read!

RedefineReality In reply to RedefineReality [2008-01-06 19:48:37 +0000 UTC]

And a g, in case of emergencies?

Man, a left pinkie is not something to be taken lightly, especially when combined with the loss of a muse. But hopefully Larry gets her ass back in line, and the brilliance flows again!

I'm going to try to write today as well. I've decided that writing more is a new year's resolution. We'll see how that goes. First I need to name a muse...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

RedefineReality In reply to RedefineReality [2008-01-08 07:19:22 +0000 UTC]

I'm sort of toying with Mildred and Gertrude for muse names. Is that odd? The other odd thing is that I think that my muse is male, at least sometimes. Sometimes definetly female, but other times...I'm pretty sure he's a dude and he doesn't shave.

Perhaps that one could be Gertrude, the gender-confused male muse, and I can search again for a better name for my girl one. Thoughts?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MsCellanea In reply to RedefineReality [2008-01-11 05:25:46 +0000 UTC]

You're not very good at replying yet, my dearest BBB. I think you're replying to your own messages. Oh dear.

I have to admit, I'd hate to have a gender-confused muse. I mean, Larry's an odd name for a girl, but I see it as more of a nickname. I do like Gertrude, though. Call him Gert for short? Ah, maybe that's just me. I suppose if you can find some inspration in someone so unsure of their identity, then by all means. You know a good girl name? Ingrid. I love that one. Best of luck with Gertrude, though. Hope he figures himself out with relative expidience.

MsCellanea In reply to RedefineReality [2008-01-07 00:40:32 +0000 UTC]

Yes, yes, a G! Good for scrabble.

Eh, Larry will cooperate in time. She's just a little stubborn, that's all.

Can't wait to read more of you stuff! What a fantastic resolution. And as for your muse, you can't really think too long on it. Just throw something out, like... say, Marcus. Unless it's a girl, in which case... Marcussette? Sounds like a brand of silverware. Aye dios mio.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

MsCellanea In reply to RedefineReality [2008-01-06 17:47:27 +0000 UTC]

Larry is being kind of a bitch. Meh, I don't need her anyways. I should go rat her out to Calliope, honestly. We'll see.

And actually, now that you mention it, I did lose a sizeable chunk of pinkie just the other day! Tragic, tragic. No more Q, A, or Z in anything I write. What am I to do?

(Perhaps I should put some Hs in there in case some herbs come along...)
