Of course! I have blown away with the theme "Cosmic Loneliness" from Totenwald. It reminded me the authentic underground and punk essence of the old days...  Now I follow them on facebook.

First of all give me the URL to your Tumblr so I can see what kind of layout you have.

If you're logged in, can you see the "customize" page on the right hand top corner? Click it... You'll see a little white box underneath "custom theme" & "edit HTML". That's your "about me" section. Write something about yourself and your interests. Click the green button "save" and then close. Refresh your profile page and you'll see a difference. Click on "dashboard" on the top right hand corner. There should be icons like, "text" "photo" "quote" "link" "chat" "audio" and "video". Click on the "photo" icon at the top of your dashboard page. It'll then say, "choose file" button. If you have any photos on your PC/laptop then click on that button and it'll take you to your PC/laptop folders. Choose a photo and double click on the photo so it can be shown on Tumblr and ready to click send. Before you click "create post" you can see the "tags" box on your right hand side. You can write tags like, "Gothic" "Architecture" "Cathedral" for example, all separate words. The tags will make it easier for others to find your photo in the "gothic" "architecture" and "cathedral" tags when searching those words in the Tumblr search engine. Once you've tagged the picture with those names you can click "create post". It'll take a few seconds to load and then it'll post the picture to your dashboard and your followers dashboards. That's how you make a picture post on Tumblr.

And I finally decided to open a tumblr after like a year.
I am sorry I didn't reply first, finally I got my hands to do it!!

It really helped, but I can't seem to understand how do I customize the while page, I mean editing the background, adding a header picture etc. The themes don't help either I can't seem to like any of them.

Well, if you want a specific kind of background, you can google lets say for example, "gothic victorian tumblr layouts" and choose one you like, then it'll give you the long code, and you paste that into the "Edit HTML" part on the "customize" section. It's quite easy, actually. If you still need help, I can assist you. What is your URL?

oh, good idea! I managed to customize it somehow with one of the layouts.

I really want the pictures to show one near another without any words next to them, and they can be a bit dark an as the mouse goes over them they get "lighted" ^^
