Crypto almost jumps out of his skin when Pox shouted at him, sticking a finger in his ear cavity to clear it out as he listened to Pox finish.
Crypto: Okay, Okay, keep your skirt on.
He turns toward the gathering, noticing the little girl. Crypto chuckles to himself.

Laughing to himself Crypto approaches.

Climbing through the window, Crypto scurries across the hall to the basement door. He opens the door, peering down into the dark basement below.

Crypto walks down the stairwell following the sounds of crying. Seeing little Suzey in the corner, Crypto falls to a knee.

He swings his arm in a 'come here' gesture.
Crypto: Come on, I'll get you outa this dump.
