I note what you say in your Journal. Getting noticed on DA and getting (intelligent) responses is a major challenge. I've read lots of advice from many sources on DA, but posting images and making friends by faving, watching, and commenting seems to be the one sure way of increasing "personal traffic".
The images that I have looked at are OK and some are good, eg the one RockStar V2, but I suspect that like me, you may need to get out and shoot, shoot, shoot. Photographers will often take a lot of mundane shots when on a shoot, and then suddenly hit the zone - that often happens with me, and from reading about famous guys and gals, this is common.

Your get out and shoot advice makes complete and total sense. I am heading out next weekend to work with a model for the second time and I cannot wait. I live in a foreign country, with a huge language barrier, and I am trying to work past that to find people that want to shoot and take it serious at the same time. I get a lot of girls that are "models" and they spend 4 to 5 hours getting ready, and then it is dark out or they just stand there and stare when I ask them to stand a certain way. It is frustrating, but then I ask, "How many photoshoots have you done?" Always the same response, "None, I want to start..." I usually put the camera away and talk to them at that point to get them comfortable, but none of the photos look remotely decent for posting.
All in due time. Thank you for the much needed and completely refreshing read.

Hey. i was in Arizona for the last month with no internet. I just got back today, and havent had a chance to do a photoshoot in a really long time. I really want to shoot, but Now I have to find time to finish up some training, and then get another shoot in. i am going to try talking to Arnee and seeing if we can shoot over the next few days.

I take my Final Test Tomorrow, for the Current Studies that I have. hopefully after that, I will actually have time to go through and Comment on work. I am almost done, and close to getting my eyes checked out to find out if I can have refractive surgery to get them fixed.. I have my fingers crossed for everything.

I had that surgery. Piece of cake, and so much better not having to wear long distant vision glasses. Unfortunately, I now have to wear readers... Always something! It is nice to drive and wear regular sunglasses...Good luck on your test Scott!
