I for example never did thank for faving my work. And I don't like to respond to posts "it's awesome" simple answet "thanks". That's why I ussualy try to pick up a conwersation. But this is only my weird habit of dealing with things. No biggy.

Honestly, I find copying/pasting thank yous weird and mostly hypocritical, but not saying anything at all sounds quite rude to me. So it's a bit of a dilemma. :/

Naah, I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about me. I usually post a copied/pasted comment on people's profile when they fav my stuff. That's why I say that.
I wasn't calling you hypocritical, sorry if it sounded like I was.
What I meant is that the thing I do (copying pasting thank yous messages to people's profiles) is quite hypocritical, because in the end it's just a "thank you" not to feel guilty of not thanking anybody. Do you see what I mean now ?

Nah. That's not exacly being hypocritical. You just used "thank you" too often. Words have tendency to
lack in charm and significance when are repeated constantly. Hypocrite is like advanced form of ordinary Liar.
His actions are contradictory to promises let's say example:
You can trust me that with me you will get no charm -said devil pushing mortal of the clif.
That the example of being hypocrite. You offer empty promise and you do quite the opposite.
In your case saying "thank you" is just "thank you". You maybe wish that this "thank you" had
more honest than mechanical meaning behind it. But it sure is not a lie. IT's just "thank you".
And copy-ing this fraze doesn't make it less.

That's very true. But if I say thank you too often, maybe it ends up not meaning anything to me anymore, so it gives the impression I care while I don't know if I do anymore. So it makes me hypocritical, in a way. Don't you think ?

Story:
You've got facebook. You are adding your personal information including the place when you learn, live and your phone numer.
You start adding random people to your friends list allowing him to see all that tasty info and then what? You've got stalkers which will soon know more than you ever wish for. Poor people with complexes which will turn your world into hell just because you supposed to suport tchem mentally and not giving them truth in the face.
But when you are in Aqua Park and suddenly someone mention that there are cameras here suddenly you've got upset and start tlking about violation of your private life...No bullshit!!!
Did you see to what humanity decreased? Did you see a paradox here. People who shouting out loud "My privacy is sacred" now started willingly posted shitty data, info, intel. about themselces. Irony and Idiocy all in one. Just like brainless sheep.

From what you tell me, I'd say it's a bit of both.
And I agree with everything you said. I do think we live in weird times, to be honest. But the absurdity you display here is interesting, because it shows humans are flawed.
One question remains, tho : where is the limit ? Do you really make no difference between sharing a birthday date (without displaying the year) and all your personal information ?
