My pleasure indeed, Nina and I trust you had a wonderful birthday for sure!    ...and just to let you know that just yesterday, I got a BIG pop-up message from Microsoft that Windows 7 will not receive anymore updates after January 20, 2020.   It'll cost me $200 CDN to buy Windows 10 for my Win7 computer but far better to invest more money on a new computer with Windows 10 already installed...and so it goes!

Yes, there comes a point when the updates are just not worth it anymore

I really like the computer emoji  My computer is so slow at times, and then suddenly it works fine, then slow slow slow  

Have you been looking for a new one already? I have never used mac, so I am pretty sure it's not going to be one of those... I'll probably choose a HP again

Hi Nina!  Well, Microsoft gave me the message about Windows 7 coming to an end in January 2020 and I'm preparing to get myself a new computer later this year.  No point paying $200CDN for a Windows 10 upgrade which may not work very well at all with Win 7 and so it goes.  If your computer is slow, perhaps you should run an anti-virus program to see if there might be something causing the computer to slow down.  And for me, no Mac at all...I'll stay with Microsoft.  I have a Mac iPad and although it works fine, I find that it's not all that "user friendly."  Always looking for money...hahaha.   HP is a good computer and since I have an Acer machine, I might buy another one of those next time...wait and see I guess.  All said and done, have yourself a really great day in Denmark, Nina and I hope you're having great weather also!

Haha yes I've also heard that about apple products

I thought about changing to an Acer actually, but it depends.. I am used to a 17'3 screen, and there are not a lot of those on the market. I don't want a smaller screen for my writing.

I have looked at a couple of HP notebook, but the screen on those seem a little muddy compared to mine, which is a HP pavilion.

Anti-virus, got it  but my computer is old, that's the problem

Hi Nina!  Oh yes, Apple is not perfect and for some reason, every few weeks or few months or whatever, I have to log in to my Apple account with my ageless iPad.  Quite annoying me thinks and for sure I will not purchase an Mac computer at all.  I like desktop computers, so I'll likely buy another ACER with Windows 10 installed on it later this year.  I did have a TOSHIBA laptop some years ago but I didn't use it much at all and sold it...desktop for me and that is that.  HP makes good desktop computers also but my current ACER has been around a long time and has been working really well. Anyway I hope your computer will be running smoothly very soon, Nina--absolutely.  And now, time for sleep and work tomorrow...have yourself a great day in Denmark and thanks for writing once again!
