Actually, I just remembered, since you like C&C so much, you should checkout "Twisted Insurrection" on Google.
It's a standalone mod for Tiberium Sun, where Nod won instead after 95 and took over the world, just before the events of Sun. It's on the same game engine as Tiberian Sun, but has the graphics of Red Alert 2 and highly recommended. Plus, you don't need Tiberian Sun or Firestorm to play it - you just download, install and play, and unlike TS and FS, it's compatible and runs smoothly with modern operating systems.
Also, as a bonus, downloading the new version of Twisted Insurrection, you'll also get Twisted Dawn built - basically playing Tiberian Dawn on better graphics.
Trust me, this is the C&C game that EA wished it had made and it brings the nostalgia back full force every time you play.
