yes thats a fact i like metal surfaces, machines, industrial tools, sinks, taps etc.. even industrial washing machines! because they are objects that are produced for functionality and hard work. their beauty is usually not so important. but i enjoy those things which have never been designed as something decorative, so they look more natural, pure, naive and "modern". they are not intended to look good, because they are not things that people care when deciding which one to buy and use.. also rusty, mossy metals/walls with peeled off paint appeal me. if u still ask why, i like the look of the naturally great textures and colours of rust and moss that grows on things that produced or built by men on purpose and for functionality. check this :) (Smile) it should explain my exact taste and why it is so...

Hm. I have to say, that is really interesting. I have to say, that I love the colors of rust. I also have my weird, random fascinations with different objects (as im sure everyone has their own). So, in some aspect I can see how you appreciate what you do. I love seeing other people's interests and reasons behind them, every so often you a different one like this.
