I agree. I don't hate soldiers; they think they're doing the right thing. The thing I hate is that they're not. At least not by killing innocent people.
And you're right; I'm only a partial native. I have Native American in my blood, but along with that there's German. I wish I could have chosen where I was born but unfortunately not. I hate to be judged by the land where I was born; the least I can do is try to show people that I care and that kindness still exists in the darkest of places. I try to see through the anger people show, and realize that they're good people who have been through something that they did not deserve. What I feel for you is love, compassion and hope that all will be made right for you. I wish I knew you personally, so maybe I could truly express the the sadness and regret I feel towards what my country has done to yours. But since not, I can only try to put it into words.
