Jaz, I'm really sorry I haven't been active for such a long time. I really appreciate your concern and I'm sorry I made you worry about me. Thanks for looking out for me, though! It means a lot.
Again, my apologies, but I couldn't really combine dA with my life anymore. I've been through quite a few lows the past year-and-a-half, but I have the feeling that I'm finally getting back on track again, which feels pretty amazing in and of itself.
I also read your last journal -- hopefully everything will turn out alright for you, as well. I look forward to having you back here after Christmas, and I do hope that you'll have great holidays.

it's a hard decision for me too, even if I have some more time...neuroscience or clinic psychology? I'm interested in both too, hoping there's a way to have both these aspects in my preparation...have you already passed the statystic exam? it's one of the first I have, and I'm freaking out because of the next exam period, which will start from the next month!

Sorry for the late reply, but I've been quite busy the past month!
Perhaps you can indeed find a way to incorporate both neuroscience and clinic psychology. That'd be the best, of course, even though it might eat up quite some of your time/money. I've entertained the idea of doing two Master degrees (one in Neuroscience and one in Social & Organisational Psychology) myself, but that'll probably be rather expensive.
Have you passed all of your exams lately? I have to admit that I kind of flunked the exam on statistics (which I had already expected -- I'm not that good with math). Hopefully you did better on that one!

no problem, I'm quite busy too in this period, also because I have almost all my exams in february T.T
at the moment I've passed General Psychology I and bioethics, but I'm waiting for the results of Statistics..it's quite thrilling!! next week I'm about to have Psycholinguistics, my professor is particularly affected to Chomsky and I'll probably have to write something about him -.- which will never be enough, since Chomsky was his master...
I'm looking forward to starting General Neurophisiology I <3 how are your studies proceeding?

Hopefully you'll get back some positive results of your statistics exam soon!
A few months ago, I had to write an essay about language acquisition, so that had plenty of Chomsky in it, too. Quite interesting, but I can imagine that it must be tough to write a piece about Chomsky when your professor adores him so much... Like you said, it'll probably never be enough! Good luck with that!
My studies are proceeding wonderfully, actually. I've passed my exams on Group Dynamics, Attention and Psychometrics. I'm now doing a course in Sexuology and Emotion & Cognition, which I both really enjoy. There's still another statistics course that I need to finish (Experimental & Correlational Research), but I'm getting extra lessons for that, so that's all good.
General Neurophysiology sounds really cool, by the way! Are you starting that course after you've finished all your exams this month?

do-notBotherMe In reply to Octobig [2011-02-21 07:54:23 +0000 UTC]
passed the linguistic exam! even if I'm not really satisfied for the result, but maybe because these are my first exams and I still have to manage how to study...I'll be used to, I think -.-
General Neuropsy sounds cool indeed! I'll start that course in march, when lessons will start again -we have the whole month of february for exams and graduations- Do you have to do some apprenticeship? I'll have to, also because my university is part of an hospital..
