It has been some time, but still I find myself thinking of you and the horrible thing that befell your light. With tears streaming as I am currently writing myself a suicide note, the tears are more for you and what has happened to you than for myself. I am writing about you as I write this post. You will always have a place in my heart and in my soul caycie. You were a good person.

You were the last friend I ever had. It appears that I will be dead soon. Death threats come daily from my stalker. The last time she did this, I woke in a hospital with my neck distended by a knife wound she inflicted. It was nice and kept me alive for awhile, your friendship. I will ever appreciate it and cherish that constitute of good from which we both used to mutually believe in and bourne within us. I miss you.

I didn't really do anything special for my birthday. Me and my sister had cake with our family, my dad got me something I'd been wanting/needing, and that was it really. It was a pretty nice day though ^^

Most people do. Some don't possess the profundity prevalent within those who enjoy music to possess that facet of their personality. Those are the sort of people who are simply created, not those who create. Melody, harmony, a joining and sharing of all that there is, these concepts are lost upon the weak minds that never even register on the cosmic scale of significance. Pale shadows that never blossom (precipice peak) nor bloom (consistent enduring coalesced state of being) into something more than a meager minnow in the seascape that stretches its sear and soft into the endlessness of eternity.

Music is a gripping part of my personality. Whenever I find a person who connects with music similar to the way I do, I can't help but feel that they're somewhat like me, and that makes me curious to know them more. Then there are the people who follow the empty stupidity of a lot of "popular" music, and that just gets on my nerves. If you don't explore different kinds of music, and find away to break away from what is trending, then it's hard to believe you really appreciate music. You might like it, but theres a bit of a difference in liking music and appreciating music.
There is actually one song that has caught my attention quite a lot lately. It's called "Sad Song" by We The Kings, and it's one of those I connect with and can listen to over and over. There's a few others like that recently as well, but that one is at the top of the list.

I don't ever judge musical composition or quality by genre or any other prejudice. Every song gets its own trial, or, if I'm being as specific as I can, a series of trials. There are different paradigms of quality that I use to judge how I perceive a song and whether or not I find it pleasant, enjoyable, or I stand by its side like a cultist screaming its praises to any that can, AND WILL, DAMN IT, hear/listen. (There are some times you feel compelled to defend a piece of art against any and all naysayers with conviction and unyielding constitution! xD ) I'm sure you understand, you've made it quite clear that you also possess strong sentiments toward your musical tastes and the personal connection you make to certain music. I know that sentiment all too well myself, and am not ashamed of it.
You are very correct about liking and appreciating music, in that they are not the same. But most, from my personal empirical evidence, do not know how to accomplish the latter, and only experience the former in a very prejudiced and puerile sense that is just annoying and aggravating. Most people don't know what good music is or understand anything concerning what would constitute a majestic melody, or how to twine, into a tender tether of pure piety, certain words to express and capture sentiment within a structure of symphony for the heart. Most don't sing from their soul.

I read the lyrics online, it reminded me of someone whom was more than simply: "special" or "significant" to my life, as I know I've been more than those words capture within concept for her as well.

I don't pay huge attention to genre. I know a lot of popular artists by genre, but if I discover something and someone asks what genre it's in I can only give them a close estimate. The style I like most, I don't think even has its own genre, because I find songs that fit it all across the spectrum. Sound and meaning is mostly what I look for. If I like the sound, and the meaning is relatable or good, then I'm good. Sometimes I'll venture out though and just listen to who knows what just to clear my head.

I can feel good music flowing through me, but I know many people don't. I can't say what exactly it was that ever made me connect to music the way I did, but it's definitely a physical feeling that's hard to explain. It's just a feeling that flows through me when I hear a good song.
What do you mean "at this point and time of my life?"
I guess it's not a current event that connects to the song, but just the idea of the song connecting with past experiences as well as current experiences. It's very relatable for what I often feel towards certain people.
