At one point, Applejack would be considering just kicking Spike out, but she doesn't want to be an insensitive jerk after inviting him in. After this, it could go two ways. They could either have the back-breaking straw that makes AJ snap and fuss out Spike and lead to the Timberwolf incident again, or they could have AJ try to set up a job that she thinks will be too hard for Spike and make him understand that he shouldn't try to insist so much, but then ends up being too hard for AJ alone as well.

...Great, now you got me started up. I would talk about ways to improve the Equestria Girls movie, but I may save that for a Serebii forums PM.

I enjoyed the Chrysalis arc as well. The same people also worked on the Rarity mini-comic.

The Nightmare [spoiler] arc was pretty decent, but it feels like it fumbled a bit trying to fill the huge shoes the Chrysalis arc left behind. I also feel a bit skeptical about this Applejack mini-comic coming out in July. Outside of Applebuck Season, the writers tend to have trouble making good episodes starring her.

Speaking of Applejack episodes, I still think "Spike at your Service" had potential if it wasn't trying to be so cliché. They could've just had Spike ask to stay at Applejack's while Twilight was busy instead of pulling the "you saved my life" BS. It also would've been nice if rather than being bad at the jobs given, Spike could've actually done them well (a bit too well) to the point where Spike is trying to steal some of Applejack's work, which would get the workaholic upset.
