Comic Artist Spotlight: PolymerJackJason Falkner is the co-creator of multiple comic series here on DA and beyond including Captain Cooley & Kid Delight, Reform School Girls, and my personal favorite; Rock & Rage. He’s an artist that “just likes creating fun off-beat stories.” I would tend to agree, although saying “off-beat” is a bit of an understatement.
Rock & Rage is definitely one of the coolest, albeit most bizarre, comics I have ever read. It’s gross, weird hilarity and gritty, realistic art style reminds me of Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha’s Metalocalypse while also staying in a method that is uniquely its own. The comic series follows a rock band whose adventures include explaining the truth behind drum solos and wondering which cod piece to wear before the show. Needless to say, if you have not read it yet you should do so immediately.
