Well...at least you get out of school now, but yeah...the exams are always the negative things at the end of the school year. But you're lucky; I still have at 7 months left before I graduate and move onto college...

I hate exams. They're always stressful...and it doesn't help that I'm not the studious type of person.

I'm in grade 12/senior year (don't know what that's equivalent to in New Zealand...o_o) So after this year....no more grade school/secondary school. To me, in the colleges/universities is when the real world kicks in.

I LOVE creative writing. Almost as much as I love fantasy. I used to hate writing (academic writing, mostly), but again...after Harry Potter, I got inspired by a lot of my favorite authors to start writing my first book. I based the story of this early childhood dream I had about saving the world with magic. Sounds....awkward, but several of my readers here absolutely love it; it's pretty funny. Two of my school friends were doing random sketches (also called a "sketch dump") of my characters in a notebook at lunch today.

My dream college/university doesn't have creative writing classes; only a writing program for academic writing (essays, research papers, etc.) I'm hoping to find some writing club there next summer, so I can get more feedback on my writing...

Thanks! Hopefully, I'll have the first book published once I'm in college.

It's one of my favorite hobbies besides drawing. But I often get writer's block or no motivation to write. Then, at the most random moments, I can get these "spur-of-the-moment" little short prose/scenes to write up. My imagination is weird at times...

It's on Mibba, and on here. ~TheWorldHeroRace That's my series' club; it's kinda small right now, and doesn't get a lot of traffic, but it's slowly gaining popularity here on dA. I've been adding EVERY chapter of my first book to there; actually, I just added a new chapter to Book One last night. The first book is looking a lot better than my other drafts; I'm finally over the 100-page mark in MS Word, and it hasn't even reached the climax yet! I'm so proud of myself with how much it's coming along~!

I'm on so many other writing sites, I sometimes forget to check on them. I'm really desperate for critiques and feedback, so I try to update the series on any writing site; Mibba, Writer's Cafe (new site I joined), Textnovel (readers are notified through email/text message when writers update their stories), Author Nation, NaNoWriMo (I'm losing to that challenge...), and so many others that I can't remember.

Okay, I'm gonna stop there; once I start talking about my story, I often can't stop. I just get so excited talking about it~!

I can't remember all the writing sites I've joined. But out of most of them, deviantART seems to be the most helpful with receiving new readers. There's...16 members in the club on here. Webs.com is great, too. You can build your own free website, and get new members to join it. It's funny how I have 16 members on that site, too.

...It's one of the reasons why I annoy my school friends with it; I kept talking about it so much. They were going to read it, but all of us got caught up in our schoolwork, they often had no time to read it. But now...they've been a bit better; I have two school friends as editors now, since I'm not good with grammar in my writing.

Yep, same reaction. I get so excited, I turn hyper, every time someone comments on my story. Then, I'm a lot more optimistic for the rest of the day. One of my new members here actually critiqued some of the beginning chapters on it; it was the only thing that brightened my day when I came home to find a critique for the first time! Apparently...my story is appealing more to adults too, not just teens (I was aiming more toward teen-readers when I started it). But that's a good thing; I have a better chance at appealing to editors/agents later on!

I annoyed my friends with it so much for the last two years, they forced me to move all my story writing from my original dA account (this one) to the new club I made for it. After that, they grew more lenient with me on it, and I could still talk about it with one of my friends, who actually edited my manuscript for me last year for a novel contest.

Same here. dA can become VERY addicting. I'm supposed to be working on college stuff right now....but I just can't help but go on here.

I figured that out when I had a few fellow writers who were in their 30s and 40s, reviewing/critiquing the chapters on two writing sites.

Oh, it's pretty easy to post your writing on here. Just go to the submission page like you would to upload a picture, and click on the button that says "Add text." Then just paste your writing into the text box that pops up (For phrases in italics, bold, or underline; use these codes... < i >< /i >, etc.). Then, after you finish the other things on the submission page, your deviation/submission will look like this: [link]
