Oh yes! My family and I had dinner at an Italian restaurant and I chose to buy a vegan cookies-and-cream birthday cake. None of them liked it, but I think it was good! (Though it WAS a little bit too sweet...)
I'm not vegan but I am famous for choosing (and doing) weird things within my family/friends anyway. Maybe it's just eccentricity.
