Your drawings seem to take me to these places. I want to touch the bark of the old tree, to the stones of the destroyed abbey. I admire your work!

I really like your pencil style with great details and beautiful scenery. I do a lot of pencil drawing myself, and live the way you do shading and texturing. Looking at your work makes me learn new things! Keep it up!

Hi Clive. Looks like we have a similar background. I retired as a Chartered Building Surveyor about 5 years ago and although I have been drawing all my life I have only been back to it for ten years. The quality of drawing around the world has improved so much my efforts were not so good but with the internet and a bit of research I have (I hope) improved a little. I have hit a bit of an hiatus lately while I rediscovered music however since visiting this site enthusiasm has returned, however being referred to as a Deviant came as a bit of a shock.
My web site includes drawings I will be exhibiting here while the motivation builds.  
I must say your choice of subject, interpretation and technique is great. Will keep watching. Hope to speak again.
