but in Avatars, how in the world do you make the background clear?
xD Sorry if its too much trouble. but I finally got around to making one and the white background looks horrid.

: D Oh no it's no problem lol. Well... it really depends on what program you're using, but if you have Photoshop, and you're doing an avatar for dA, either just don't put a background layer at all.. Like so you see the checkered background, or make it the same color as the background the icon will be on. D: Which is harder because it's not always the same color, I don't think.
