oh btw deaf! wow i have always found people with "disabilitys" (i use the term loosely) interesting because rather than just not being able to do stuff, they just work harder to do them. but lol im sure theres less distractions lol im on my way to being death by how loud i have my headphones all the time i love how you talked about listining to music by feeling the vibrations, i heard of that but i never knew how effective it was, lol now im curious about that
i see you dont have much art up, and you sent 2 things to scraps (???) i hope you decide to post more lol

Yes, I am Deaf. lol I have been busy lately and I hope that I can put more art up in the summer!! It is sometime tough for me to deal with othe people with their horrible opinions, but I have always put myself in a positive mind while being in a bad situation. Being Deaf isn't easy.

well i was hoping you were positive, i hate for people to think to negatively on such things, they may not always be positive situations, but positive personalitys will always help more than negative ones and yeah i dont understand how it is to be deaf, but i understand how it is to be disabled, for one i have ADHD and a minor form of autism, and my little brother has Down syndrome so he thinks at the level of a 3 year old, at 9. so dont think im just trying to be sympathetic, its not easy to get real sympathy from me lol

Yes,I am positive and it is hard to know that people doesn't understand anything about it. That's interesting to know that you have ADHD and your brother have Down syndrome. It is not a big deal with me. So hang on for me!

lol i dont really think mines so much a big deal, its stressfull somethimes but its hardly as severeor uncommon as other things lol, my brother at the moment has the ignorance is bliss kinda thing, he doesent realize hes dfferent, from anyone else, of course hes kinda sheltered from it all, someday he will realize the he is different, and possibly he will be treated wrongly due to it, i used to know some severely autistic kids when i was in middle school, and i heard enough of them being made fun of. so id say im more worried about him then myself but really he will learn, if i think too hard on that, ill just be tempted to over protect him, or feel sorry for him, and i dont want to do those things

I had a few autistic kids in my school and they graduated with no problem. I believe that your brother will make it! Eveyone with their disability can do everything they wany. That's the belief I greatly believes in. Period.

Oh? your deaf? That's cool! I learned American sign language two years ago at my college. Do you use sign language or not?

Yeah, I do communicate with it! I was born deaf thanks to drugs and acohol(sp?). I don't mind talking about it!
I'm just glad that someone learned about it! It'll help the Deaf culture around the world.

Yeah. I'm glad I really took that class. I took it because I used to have a friend whose Dad was deaf, and I didn't even think that deaf people had a culture. It was really cool to learn sign language and a bit of history behind it too.
I really need to brush up on my Sign Language, because I don't really have anyone to communicate with it on a daily basis too, so I tend to forgot most of it...
Which is Ironic because I work at a grocery store, and I always get the deaf customers, and they're impressed I know a little bit of sign language.
(I just have to tell them to slow down every once in awhile because I forget some signs... )
I'm just lucky most of them can read lips.

Even I am Deaf, I usually practice my signing in the front of my mirror and it really helps me a lot! I think you should try it sometime! Don't worry if you keep forgetting some signs, just try your best! It is worth to do your best to communicate with them! Deaf people around my hometown is a rare sight since we are like "hiding" in secret or something.

Well, I live in a tourist town. People come and go because we're on the other side of the bridge. So I always get interesting customers.
Lol Secret agent man!
Just curious again, is it just you in your family that's deaf... or...

I'm only the one is actually Deaf besides my uncle. He is hard-of-hearing, but speaks very well. Lately, I noticed that most family members of mine been having a hard time hearing something, even my sisters which are 19 and 13! I guess it is soon to be a "Deaf" family. Hahahaha!
