I'm proud to say that I'm finally ready to release a demo and I'm looking for good, story-minded people to read through and give me detailed feedback! Without further ado~
Chronicle of Beast is a Fantasy Adventure and mostly kinetic visual novel featuring a vibrant world with unique characters. At present the script is 17,937 words and is only just getting started on the introductory arc to the grand adventure still to come. The VN will feature custom artwork for character, backgrounds, and event images, as well as the option to develop stronger relationships between the MC, the ever expanding world, and her companions.

I found a sprite artist and now I'm looking for a BG artist. I have 4 different bedrooms and a few more BGs being thought of by myself.

Unlock Umbra’s route if all story routes are completed.
Summary: Lucia, the main character who lost her memory from a mysterious brutal murder. She woke up in a small headquarter meeting six people who lived in this headquarter as young executors. They kill prisoners who are in death penalties. Lucia will find out who the characters are, why do they kill? Why do they take this occupation? And what troubling past they have that lead them here? Guide Lucia and help gain each character’s trust or else...
This is a long project, maybe 50,000 words or more.
This story will have sibling bonds, no incest relationship.

It doesn't work with Chrome OS. Only linux, windows, and Mac. You can export games to android and IOS, but not the ren'py program, as far as I know of.

So I have a couple of projects i've been working on, but when I opened Renpy, it doesn't have my projects in the projects list, it just has "Tutorial" and "the question".
my projects are still saved in my documents so I can open the script and stuff so i can edit, but I can't launch my games so i can test them.
what happened? and what do I need to do?

It could be that you just need to move the game project's folder into the same place you have the "Tutorial" and "The question" folders saved. This usually solves this error. Also, You can change this setting under "Preferences" in the ren'py program to set it to where they'll show up. Though, this usually does mean you'll need to move the "tutorial" and "the question" folders to the new location. Hope this helps and let me know if it's still giving you any trouble!

I'm not sure why it would remove them. But, if any problem with it continues, you can reach the developer of the program on the Lemmasoft forum "Pytom". I'm glad you were able to fix it though!

Hi, everyone! This is HarukaNami. I am a Writer/Renpy programmer offering everyone an occupation for a project I would like to make.
The game is called 'Crimson Regret' it was originally a novel that I made years ago, but I decided to convert it into a visual novel game. It will be short: 35,000 words or more. (Depends).
The genre is: Fantasy, Drama, Supernatural, Psychological, Angst
Here is the summary:
Azure is the son of a bastard Phoenix Leader. He is currently about to become a phoenix warrior, but he encountered a goddess that was given by his father. Azure will have to protect the goddess until she gets her position, but this goddess seems a bit odd...This story is a third person that is split into two main characters. Both of them are male while there are two backstories with another perspective another male and one female.
What I need:
Co-writer: (1)- You are in charge to discuss and make ideas with me. Yes, you will have permission to write the story with your ideas just as long as you have my permission. However, you will have to give me some small writing samples (300 words). In Gmail only. For further details for the characters and the current writings come talk to me by Gmail because everything is in Google Drive.
BG Artist: My current bg artist is gone due to unknown circumstances, so I could use a new one. I have some backgrounds for you to edit, but you will have to give me samples of your bg arts.
Composer: My composer is a bit busy with his life and he could use some help, but there are most times when you have to work on your own. I will review it. I know that soundtrack will mostly have a piano on it, so if you are a piano expert, then that's perfect!
GUI Artist: I'm looking for a simple GUI art. I don't really like complicated things, so give me a pm for further details.

To submit it to deviantart, you would need to either create promo art of your game or simply take a screenshot (or multiple screenshots) and submit that. As far as the game itself, you can't directly submit to deviantart unless it's a flash game, so you'll need either a web host, (if you have your own website) or a file host (such as mediafire) . I personally recommend using itch.io/ for hosting your game. They have a nice setup for both free and commercial games. Once you've uploaded your game to the outside host, just link it in the description of your submitted deviation with the screenshot.
