# About me
I am a Scientist with a MS in Biology and BS in Fisheries and Wildlife with a specialization in Wildlife. I hope to continue my education with a PhD in an animal behavior related field. Currently, I specialize in predation and foraging.
My many hobbies include reading manga/comics, writing, drawing, sculpting (when I am able), taxidermy, scale modeling (gunpla) and exploring the world of science. I enjoy creating different lifeforms for Alpana, my own fantasy world, and use my knowledge of science and natural history to make them seem viable.

Thanks!
Biology/zoology can be a difficult program to get into because there is a lot of competition. The programs are designed to weed out those who just are not cut out for a career in zoology, so it is very important to stay proactive, and get plenty of experience along the way. Many programs require that you sign up for at least one lab before you graduate, but it is better to work in as many as you can as early as you can. It will also help you figure out what kind of research you want to pursue after graduating should you choose that path. Also, make sure to talk with your professors, or at least a few of them. It will help them associate your face with your name on their roster, and thus give you a more suitable/fair grade. Knowing a few professors personally will also allow them to write good letters of recommendation for you. Letters are often required for some jobs and if you want to get into graduate school later on. Other then that, it is good study habits and staying healthy. I hope that helps?

Thank you for the fave!
Dunno why I didn't do so before, but have a llama badge!
It does nothing. But I think llamas are cute.

Ohhh thanks a lot!...
I was dazzled by your bird art!...
You draw them so well than they seem to breathe if you look straight at them!
Hm...must watch!

Maybe it does...but I love it still, just the way it is now.
