Hey man,I have a question regarding my Wii.It happened a couple of weeks ago,it just decided to stop playing any kind of disc.Wii and Gamecube.And what pisses me off is that I was playing Metroid Prime Trilogy for about three minutes before it kicked me off saying "this disc is not compatiable with this version of this console",or something like that.All in all,I was just wondering if you have a solution on how to fix this technical difficulty.Your help would be appreciated in any kind of way.

lol, I never had any error like this while playing normally.
Did you enable cheats with Ocarina or something?
Or did you update your Wii recently?
I still have FW 3.3 or something installed.

Alright,I updated it,then tried to make it read some discs.STILL DOESN'T WORK!!Man,I'm at a loss of what to do.Got any other suggestions you think might work?

Sorry for the late answer: I would go back to the shop where you bought the wii and get a replacement.I don't know what else to do.

I don't know what you are talking about with the cheats thing.But I haven't even thought about updating it.I'll go try that and report back later with the results.
