Thanks for sharing your insights about traveling in South America. I hope you are getting into the rural zones, the are where life is truly different. I remember discovering in Peru that people there had time. Then I realized that we--in the western developed nations--have all sold our one true asset, our time. So we all operate out of a feeling of paucity, scarcity, deficit and a feeling like we need to make up our loss, a kind of quiet desperation that never really goes away. Yet those people, who we would call poor by almost all standards of measurement, had/have something we cannot get back, time. They have time. Time to live, to breathe, to be with each other. I spent six months traveling in South America years ago and it changed my life.
But I came to your site for a different reason. I'm constructing an installation for an upcoming Infected Mushroom show here in very cold Minneapolis, MN USA. I found your Infected Mushroom "lamp". If I get time, I may try to make something inspired by it. Meanwhile, would you mind if I post it on my FB page as a beautiful example of work inspired by IM?
At some point, I'd like to create and Infected Mushroom inspired art show. You can be my friend on FB. I'm the only Brant Kingman.

I can’t get enough of your crazy, explosive surrealism; it hits my heart like an A-bomb. “Laughing” You got such life in your style, it’s amazing really. Anyway I love it, all thumbs up.
