As for how im doing, eh setting usual problems with family bickering aside, im doing great.
Just starting to get tedious with finding a job aha, as well as deciding on wether I'll apply for an artschool, actually get into the graphic design line or just do a basic highschool/college education for a start.

Sorry for the late reply; I just got back yesterday from a trip to England. Our flight back got delayed by 4 days as well haha...at least we had an excuse to visit London in the meantime : )
Glad to hear you are doing good! Even when being so busy making important decisions and with looking for a job, I can imagine all that being quite tedious indeed. I remember when I had to make the same choice... I would say it is always worth it to at least apply? Judging by your creativity and your passion for art I would surely try! If they won't let you in the first time you could always try again the next year, at least thats how the art schools in the Netherlands work. That's how my sister got in after a year of more practicing and growth : ) But a 'basic' education is just as fine aslong as you'll be happy! This turned into quite some babbling...haha.

It has indeed been picking up with more summerly warm weather aha!
How was your trip to the UK? Personally only been to London back in 2011/12 as a school trip.
Art schools are different, but sametime similar. Here they mostly look on what you can do already and if you're so and so worth taking in and learning up!
Alternatively there's the paid courses, hhhh while they look pretty cool the prices oh man. I guess I'll just keep working on my portfolio before applying ahaha
Otherwise I guess basic education is as you said better than nothing~

And by the time I get to reply it is already autumn...crazy! I'm sorry, after I got back I had some busy weeks...pfft! 
My trip was a lot of fun! I sailed with my boyfriends family on a so called 'narrow boat' in the canals, and in London we visited the aquarium and
all the local highlights ^^ I've been in London before as well with school; but then we spend most time in museums and such, so it was fun to do some different
things this time! 
Ahh I see, interesting to hear about how your art schools work. I bet those course prices are quite a punch in the wallet indeed : / It's always a good idea to build up your
portfolio a bit more before taking the step! Have you been able to make a choice? My sister is back to school again so I figured it must have started over there too, but maybe not.

Good to hear you had a great time though! And it certainly sounds way different compared to school trips and all their museums.
Art schools here as just... I don't even know, they're kinda wierd with admission and all that, but I guess that's just how its always been.
I decided to try and get into the classes starting january, but I am still to schedule a meeting with them due to irl having been busy as heck and my spare time being fuelled into the OCT I participated in, thankfully that is over!
Main concern however is, if/when I get into the school if I can grab the art classes haha.

Haha wow! Mooie collectie : D Maar dat is beter denk ik dan alles door elkaar gooien. En ja, een echte site bouwen is moeilijk, maar er zijn gelukkig veel blog-achtige alternatieven : ) De mijne is ook nog niet perfect, ik heb hem zelf gemaakt in het programma Muse, maar daar moet je nu voor betalen, zucht. En ik heb mijn scriptie geschreven over de invloed van digitalisering op het illustreren en de kunsten in het algemeen; omdat ik zelf heel traditioneel werk ben ik gaan onderzoeken wat voor rol de computer is gaan spelen, en of ambacht nog wel zal blijven bestaan en belangrijk is : ) Ik mag hem nu gaan vormgeven ^^

Tof tof! Ik ben benieuwd hoe het nu gaat. Ik heb een tijdje niks laten horen omdat ik een deadline week heb. Het gaat goed hier! Bezig met de vormgeving van mijn scriptie en dat gaat de goede kant op, maar de laatste loodjes wegen altijd het zwaarst...
En dat geeft niet hoor, begrijpelijk : D Klinkt als een leuke opdracht! Maar inderdaad, animeren kost zoveel tijd... ik heb enkel stopmotion animaties gemaakt maar dan nog duurt het superlang voor je een stukje af hebt. Maar het is wel leuk, ik ben benieuwd! Ik zou hem zeker ook op dA zetten als dat lukt : D
