I'm very creative, I love making things, and I love the Zelda games. I'm a gamer in general and a bit of a perfectionist. I always try to do things myself at least once, and more often than not end up with a new skill. I've dabbled in webdesign back in the day, but I'm a visual thinker and no programmer, so I stick to what I grew up with- making things with my hands.

I really hope you're still planning on making a ALBW/BotW font, it's been a while and no one's made one available.Β Although I imagine even if they had, it's unlikely the font would be as good as yours.

Hello there. Myself and the Zelda Wiki team were curious if you have been developing a font of the Hylian used in both ALBW and BotW? This seems to be an often requested font.

*sheepish look* I realize that lack... I thought by now someone would have made one and spread it around; was shocked recently to find that I was wrong. I DID find one version on a russian website thanks to a friend, but safe to say even though it would technically work, the formatting is a bit funky. I do plan on getting one converted from my SS Hylian font, however right this moment life is insanely busy (good (very good) busy, but still busy).
Forgive me for not being on the ball with the ALBW/BotW font! *claps hands together and falls over in an attempt to bow*

I would actually hate to just go and make one for the sake of making it if someone else has done so well... I mean... the ONLY reason I MIGHT if your friend releases theirs, would be purely for the fact that I could lump it with all my other fonts for ease of download- but that's what the wiki and Zelda sites are for, to be honest, right? ^^'
It always feels a little weird (though insanely flattering, too) that I know people think of me as the font/language girl. I...am hardly the only one who's ever made Hylian and Zelda related fonts, and was far from the first. Can't take ALL the credit, by any means. So of course, if someone else has done a good one, I'm game. I would love to download it! ^_^

I have a question about constructing languages, nothing to do with Hylian itself though.
I'm making a language for an alien race called the Attri, and I was thinking of using hard/soft m and n pairings like in Russian, but I already wanna use the Spanish Γ± sound as well. Is there any audible difference between a soft Russian n and the Spanish Γ±? ... asking as a speaker of American English with no Russian phonetic training, just Wikipedia ^^' I've taken some Spanish, always figured Γ± sounded kinda like a an n with a y blended into the end...

Actually, you nailed it. TheΒ Spanish Γ± does have a "y" sound with it; take the word "maΓ±ana" (tomorrow (I think; I grew up hearing Spanish but never reallyΒ learned it lol)); it's pronounced "man-ya-na" instead of sounding like "banana". So having both a soft n andΒ Γ± as separate letters will work just fine~ Good luck with your language progress!
