The first thing I shall do is to introduce myself.

My name's Alexandra (Russian diminutive form for it is Sasha, so here it is - you can call me Al, Alex or using the names above). I'm Polish but I know English and Russian well so I can speak in 3 languages fluently.


*** THINGS I LOVE (TO DO) ***

Russian classic literature

Especially works written by Dostoyevsky. You can see his influence everywhere on my profile. I started to make fan art drawings related to my favourite work of him - "Crime and Punishment" which is the best novel ever in my opinion.

"Crime and Punishment"

As I said it above. The novel about murder, pangs of conscience, devotion, pride, love, rebirthing and return to God. Breathtaking, beautiful and touching. I recommend reading it for everyone.

making music videos

Another one of my biggest hobbies. I work mainly with the Soviet screening of "Crime and Punishment". Check out my YouTube account (use the link below). If you like my clips and you want to see more, please subscribe (and let me know if you noticed me on dA as I can add you to my friends).

dragons

As a fan of all lizards and reptiles I just adore their stronger cousins. I used to project and make figures of dragons. You can see the best works in my gallery.

I love to support your endeavors! And I'd love to contribute in any way I can. And like you, I've got some fanart ideas in my head! I'd start off with Bros. Karamazov first since I just finished the novel. Then once my copy of C&C arrives, I will devour it lol!!

Oh why yes indeed! I just finished The Brothers Karamazov and just fell in love with the novel! Dostoyevsky is one of the greatest authors I've read! He is a total master of the human psyche, religion & faith, murder, family, burden of conscience, and redemption. I really would've loved to read a sequel as Dostoyesky planned, but unfortunately he died before doing so. He really touches the soul. I'm glad there's fellow fans here on DA! Definitely deserves fan love

Yes, it's my all-time number one. You can be absolutely sure it's gonna be far more of Dostoyevsky-related art from me (I'm not so fast as well but I've already got lots of ideas for next works in my head)! And it's the same thing as far as I'm concerned - when I see how many people enjoy my videos, I want to make them all the time because I know that someone out there waits. It's wonderful!
