Thanks.  I've been taking pictures since I was a kid.  My dad did a lot of photography, so I picked it up from him.  It was joining dA in 2005 that got me started doing more serious photography.  I've taken some classes to learn new skills, especially in the darkroom, and, for the past several years, have been doing advanced field trips twice a year with good group feedback.  It's the same sort of thing you can do with your drawing.

And yeah, I plan to take classes and study more in terms of looking at real life and learning from it- which will be tough, but I'll work on it. Classes, too,if I can get them.

Stop by your favorite bookstore and an artbook on anatomy.  Even for manga and caricatures and such you need a good understanding of how the human body fits and flows.
