Well my friend, I was once in your difficult position. I can say I may have a possible solution:

When I first started this profile, I was posting my illustrations through an old scanner from 2007, and to me, it appeared that my art looked like a fuzzy ass that someone made out of all grey LEGO filtered through a monochrome plate glass window.

Though this sounds like a lemon in my apple orchard, I soon learned that deviantart was not only forgiving to low-quality image capturing equipment, but it is a place full of people sharing my 'pain'.

So, literally ANYTHING you've got to capture your art, be it a cell phone or a 1920 film camera that only shoots on fruit rollups, the gracious people of deviant art will admire it.
If your problems are technical, i am afraid ill have to get back to you on that...
