I wouldn't say she's my favorite necessarily, but when talking about Vocaloids, yeah she is. I agree. I'm working on an "ah its a wonderful cat life" Gumi, because that is most likely my favorite Gumi song. Plus Len is my 3rd favorite, so its double win. I think the thing about Gumi is she gets overshadowed by Miku alot.

Because I had the same haircut and the same color!
Today I have blond hair but, I kept the haircut.

Since my friends called me like that ... I was sad because it is a little reject...

I'd love it to be a Vocaloid, official...
It makes me sad that the company does not focus on other Vocaloid.
If Miku is the only one that exists...Why they are creating another??It is always Miku Miku Miku ...
I find it sad, that they forget...

Thats neat.

I'm not really sure what you are saying. Its not the company so much that is neglecting everyone else, though. Its the fan base. Gumi is actually an official Vocaloid from the second series. And the thing with Gumi verses Miku is that Gumi has a slightly softer voice. I personally prefer the genres of music that people use Gumi for.

As for the new one, I actually kinda like Mayu's voice. Its different but pretty.

thats awesome! you are lucky you have a group. Mine is just kinda that we coordinate our costumes for gatherings slightly, and occasionally I can get them to film something.

YAY!!!! I can't wait to see it! Seeing as how I know no Romanos, I would love to get a picture sometime with you. I love me my Italians. My Austria coat came in, I love it! He's so amusing to prance around the house pretending to be. Now i need to convince one of my friends to be hungry. Or make a chibitalia outfit to wear with my italy wig and get one of my friends to wear one of those two cosplays...

Thats a pretty good mix. We have fewer constants in our group, but we have a Russia, and OMG he could not get any more in character. He is so creepy! And I have to live with him! The worst part is that he doesn't even have his pipe yet. He asked for me to make it "pimp cane height" for him.... yeah.... I haven't been able to get him out for a photoshoot yet though.

Yup. My brother is insane. lol and the reason he wants it pimp cane height is because he can't find anyone who WANTS to be his Latvia. Everyone is too creeped out. But I'm hoping to get him out in the next couple of months. Currently we do not have a Belarus, but I keep debating wether or not I want to make one. I just have 3 hetalias already so I'm hesitant to do another, seeing as how I just finished my other 2 in the last couple of months.

I mostly sew them. Occasionally I will buy something to make it with (for example my Matryoska Gumi) Or will deconstruct something (an old sheet is in the process of getting turned into an 'ah its a wonderful cat life dress'). This is actually the first cosplay I have bought. And even this is getting a new jabot and a bit more tailoring, because while the sleeves are the right length and the coat itself is the right length, I'm pretty tiny, so it is a tiny bit big. The pants that came with it have already been reconstructed. But it was handmade and is wonderful quality.

But yeah, i originally was going to go to school for fashion, and for my high school graduation project, I sewed my graduation dress with no pattern. Its a passion I suppose

Ah I see! I mostly make mine of other clothing/costumes. My Grell costume from con was almost entirely from goodwill, minus some things I already had and cheap shoes. The wig and glasses were only official part! Lately I've been seeing that I create a cosplay with only one official part (usually the wig) and the rest I get at goodwill or ebay.

You Goodwilled him! I never would have guessed! you must have better Goodwills than where I live....

haha Yeah, I look at the officials (mostly the clothing) and say "I can make it", though sometimes I am cursing myself for trying. Goodwill and Ebay are generally good routes though. I'm just stubborn.

I learned to sew when I was really young from my great aunt. She was a hatter. Plus, when I was in private school, It was required that we learn and you had 3 mandatory years of sewing. I took 5 though cause I didn't want to take cooking and they only let me do 2 years of shop....

You do have to come at the right times, though. Sometimes they have everything, yet sometimes, nothing. I go frequently when looking for a costume tho! and ahh I see! Was your italy cosplay sewn or bought?

Lucky. I frequent, but mostly to look for stuff to alter for my lolita wardrobe. I just scored two pretty blouses that will be perfect with a little modification, and a pair of shoes that is very close to an expensive pair I had on my wishlist. all for 6 dollars I love SalvAl family days Italy was made, but since then I have made a few minor additions. Although I have yet to actually hem the pants......

me too. Lolita is a style of clothing, but it can be broken down into many variations. Basically its inspired by victorian and rococo fashions. This is a good article about it: [link] I tend to lean towards sweet or classic. I just finished a new skirt today, Its a grey on black print with trebel clefs. I just have to add some trimming and more frills and it will be completly done. Basically i like to wear it because it makes me feel beautiful. I don't wear it all the time, but i wouldn't mind it.

Ah okay, that article really helped! I tend to lean more to the gothic lolita end of the spectrum, but I love the style of clothing nontheles! probably has something to do with my infatuation with lace...hmm.... and I remember my cousin once told me her old roommate would make lolita outfits and go out and meet with other lolitas. And that skirt sounds awesome! and that is a very good reason to wear it

I liked gothic lolita more when I was younger, and I dabbled in punk lolita as well. However I find as Im getting older my tastes have changed alot.... I found a box of clothes the other week that I had lost in the move when I was 16, and I literaly got rid of all of it because it was a bunch of stuff that I just wouldn't wear anymore.

The lolita fashion is stunnig, which Is why I love it so much. I have horrible self confidence and body image, and if I'm not at work, in cosplay or wearing lolita, I live in boxers/sweatpants and beaters because I dont have the motivation to take the hours it takes me to get ready to go out. I'm excited though because there is a lolita meetup about 20 minutes away from my house net month. i rarely get to go to meetups since i moved out here because i live an hour away from a city. its nice but times like that suck.... the other thing that kinda sucks is that my most-involve cosplay partner lives almost an hour and a half away! so costume meetings are generally sleepovers/events with lots of people.

so hows school been for you? NOt gonna lie, i kinda miss going to classes..... but i was always a bit of a nerd (read: teacher's pet), even in college.
