So, how'd you get into Toon?
I had a friend of mine tell me about it since I was such a cartoonaphile- he figured I'd eat it up like candy. I went on an almost half-year vendetta to find all four books, and used a lot of its rules as a basis for fanfiction.
Unfortunatly I don't have a lot of friends, so I've only been able to actually play two or three games- all with family members, and one of the games resulted in the two who were playing fighting over cheating... which as you know in such a game is kind of impossible, and every other RPG nut I've tried seeing if I can play with reguards the game as stupid: so I've just been content comming up with characters, stories, and the like.

I was playing Werewolf at the time and one of my friends noticed I was into playing silly characters and so recommended the game to me. I didn't really think anything about it until I saw the core book on a used book rack and decided to give it a whirl. After reading through it (and giggling a lot) I too went hunting for the other books (took me years to find them all.) I was able to play a few games but it is difficult to find a group (now bein' an adult and all.) Still, it's amusing just to read the books from time to time and it's always good for ideas as you mentioned. Many of my anthro/cartoon characters have been inspired by characters I'd love to play in these games.

Yeah, my "mascot characters" Batty Buddy and Basket Kate were based mostly on the games rules, and were originally set in the world of a videogame I'm a fan of.
