# About me

WELCOME to Sovereign Studio. I've been creating some very interesting 1:6 scale figures, gear and costumes for discriminating collectors all over the world for nearly a decade. For long-time fans of my work, welcome to the new site. For those of you just discovering Sovereign Studio, welcome and thanks for stopping by.
On these pages you'll see many old favorites, some new stuff I've done in the past year and many more new things to come in the future.
I work alone from my home-based studio. Everything I make, I make on demand as it is ordered / commissioned. It's important to know (and remember) that I am NOT a retailer. I do not carry an inventory of mass-produced product; I am an artist. Everything I make is made with great care, by hand; all mold making, casting, painting, cutting and sewing is done by me. I work from my own patterns, designed right here, which makes my work truly unique. I may "borrow" an occasional weapon or pair of boots here or there, but everything else is pure Sovereign Studio. I also choose fabrics and materials very carefully; I'm really focused on how clothing fits and, just as importantly, how it hangs on the figure. I even sometimes make my own fabrics using a variety of techniques I've picked up and developed over these past ten years.
