I went through my phase of being obsessed with The Who when I was 13 and for some reason Squeeze Box was my favourite song! Ever since then it's been used as my username for everything.

Funny considering it's essentially a song about some mothers bewwbs and her husband who, funnily enough, squeezes them XD

Although by itself it's a very nice sounding word! Same with box, I like boxes, they're great, so very useful for all aspects of life


My name is not Micheal ...Shikeyy originates from Shikeleostar, which up until a few days ago was my DA username (and my username anywhere) ...I turned it to Shikeyy simply for the very same reason of it being short and sweet! Less formal, I don't like formalities.. And easier to remember for other people

As for what Shikeleostar means.. No idea! I conned it years and years ago from a friend and I just keep it close to me for personal reasons to do with that friend

You could be a detective though, just make less crazy guesses

Though, I do agree, SqueezeBox has a nice ring to it! And boxes are incredibly useful... unless your empty boxes and all the empty boxes of your 5 other flatmates have completely over thrown the realm that is the downstairs storage cupboard. 

Gosh darn it! I was so close! I guess my guess was quite over shot. I'll remember to think in the box (a possible use for our many boxes). 

I always like learning about a persons username - there's always an interesting story. Shikeleostar is rather funky but I'd say the shortened version was a good move!

I have so many boxes of all different sizes, they all hold stuff and when they're empty, I always find more stuff for them to hold.. Man I love boxes

A good detective thinks in the box.. But the best ones think outsiiiiiide the box, while still being in relation to the box. As to solve the case.. Boxes are apparently great for analogies too! Is there anything they can't do!?

The story of the Shikeleostar isn't a very happy one ...Well, the story behind the actual name is mostly mysterious, it was just found in a book one day by my friend at 11 years old.. But the story of how I kept the name isn't happy at all

I'm in love with the shorter version though, it's very snappy, snap snap

...I actually did have a box club way back in school.. At its peak it had like 16 members, it was the greatest thing I ever did in school! ...Otherwise I hated the place

It's unknown quite simply because at the time I didn't care that much, this friend wanted me to use the name and challenged me to an arm wrestle for it.. Which I lost.. Horribly.. I was a miserable weakling and at 11 years old losing to a girl brought great shame to my family name.. Still didn't use the name though because I was a rebel

However she is no longer with us, passed about a year later.. So I keep the name out of the memory. That's the short version of the story, there is much more to it but I'd be here for a week if I explained that

Nothing is too personal for me though, I always say, nothing to hide nothing to fear and I don't like fear

My sleep schedule is fucked up! Not to mention my inherent insomnia.. I actually woke up like 5 hours ago.. Couldn't stay asleep much longer

Though, when I was in school, I held a rock paper scissors club - it became madness once I told everyone the psychology trick behind it. Should've just kept that one to myself XD

But as you say - you have the internet! The whole world at your finger tips. Imagine the lives you could change! The sheer number of people who have always had something missing in their live, a box shaped hole. Now with the potential to with that hole with box appreciation.

The story you told is actually very sweet though - it's quite innocent. I'm sorry that she passed but it's nice that you can look back on fond memories and talk about them so freely.

Also, in regards to the insomnia, I feel your pain. I'm lucky if I get to sleep as early as 5 most nights... mornings. 
Presently, I haven't slept for over 24 hours. I've worked tonight and I'm still sitting up wide awake. I'm also sick with the cold.

i moved about a lot. Born in Edinburgh, didn't stay there, lived out in the middle of nowhere for years and that was amazing growing up. stayed in Aberdeen the longest, so i know that city the best. i'm typically "dour" in my writing for some reason. nothing particularly shit has happened to me, but i don't know. better out than in.
