# About me
I am an artist and jewelry maker from Bayonne, New Jersey. There is nothing I find more satisfying than transforming a creative vision into something solid and knowing that I made it with my own hands. I received degrees in fine art and psychology from Caldwell College in 2012. After graduating, my focus shifted from painting and drawing towards jewelry design. I opened my own shop called TheSteamPunkTrunk ( www.etsy.com/shop/MKrodak )
on Etsy in January of 2012 and continue striving to perfect my little shop. My shop features jewelry that is recognizably Steampunk, yet has a softer, more personal touch. My dream, along with many other artists, is to make a living off of my creations without losing that spark to create with passion. I joined deviantART in hopes of gaining exposure as well as to gain creative inspiration and meet artists and craftsmen with similar interests.
