# About me

I'm not an artist by any definition. I just take snapshots with my phone whenever I happen to stumble on a place where I think it's worth catching the light. That's really my thing. Finding natural light that's somehow out of the ordinary. A confluence of factors such as the designs of architects, the light at the random time of day I happen to be in that spot. The images so created may not be original in composition either. There's only so many ways to skin a cat after all.

As such, between you guys and me, I actually feel almost ashamed when someone faves something of mine. This is just a thing I do cause I enjoy it, and sometimes it produces nice results. Yeah I know, I'm my own worst critic, but that's just the way it is. If I had a better camera and the time to get really acquainted with it, I might be happier with the results, but I'm plain not willing to spend the money that would require on an occasional hobby, nor am I certain that I'd want to lug it around everywhere I go... whereas the phone goes wherever I go.

Honestly, I don't even know what I'm trying to get at here. Maybe I just want to express that every time someone faves a photograph I've taken, I'm a little surprised, even confused that someone could like such a bad quality shot. But at the same time I'm more than grateful. For my own peace of mind, I'll just keep blaming nature and architects for any positive feelings these pictures engender.

I'll just shut up now.
