# About me

I've always admired the work of photographers but never considered learning the art until I happened across some prints of Orville Hixson. His work, produced during the 1920-30's, presented images that still today I find moving, disturbing, and erotic. What captured my attention most was his use of shadows and the stark contrast of black & white. His settings are simple; they never present a distraction from the key elements of the image. He allows the viewer to draw their own conclusions. I can only look at his work for inspiration, never to imitate.

My studio is located in Central Missouri and provides a variety of unique settings. I am a full time commercial photographer but prefer to spend my time creating what I like best which is primarily fine art nudes, fetish, and conceptual portraits. I've been blessed to have worked with so many talented models and I always give credit to them for my accomplishments. I hope you enjoy viewing my port and I always welcome comments.

Recently I've been bitten by the video bug and have branched out into filmmaking. I've produced several short films and documentaries. In November 2010 I sold a script to a production company in Italy which has fueled my new passion. I am always looking for others with an interest in all aspects of filmmaking.
