# About me
Elliott (Aka: The Sausage dog) Hi my name is Elliot and I am VERY happy to meet you! I love meeting everyone and greet all with a wagging tail and hand lick. I am 8 years old and was surrendered because my owner can no longer take care of me. I'll be honest, I have a few health issues, but they are definately manageable. First off--I'm overweight and that makes it harder for me to get around. I can't jump into a car or up on a sofa, but if you lift me, I am all about cuddling (I also love to sit on the floor and get petted and will roll over for a belly rub). If I could drop a pound or two my quality of life will be much better! I had a tumor removed from the back of my neck (it was benign and I'm fine!) and my previous owner reported that I had about 4 seizures a year previously, so I am on a pill a day to prevent that. I know, it's a lot to digest, but now let me tell you all the good. I am 8 years old, know my name, respond to people, am potty trained and love love love everyone. I approach other dogs appropriately and even officed for a day with a VERY growly other little dog who doesn't like anyone! I took my cues and just stayed away from him (although I did try to make friends a few times) I am great with just about anyone, although I might prefer a quieter household until I get the weight off and can move well. I am a professional cuddler and tail wagger and am gentle and sweet Heck just look at my picture--I will be a wonderful companion!
