I believe in parts of it but also think given the infinite fractal nature of the multiverse that great differences in origin can still have very similar results.

Unrelated, but you have no idea how annoying it is to come up with marine ecology when some of your oceans are completely separated. Im having to pull ducks and cormorants and loons and grebes and alcids out of the woodwork to fill niches.

Some of the oceans on Sylvannus are separated by hundreds and hundreds of miles of land. So I have to come up with more variable ecologies than I would if they were conjoined as seas are on earth. So Im having to create or modify a number of groups to fill niches.
