this is wildly unexpected, and i have no idea if you will even read this or remember...but long ago in a land called xanga, i wrote under the name of bluesfrombutterflies. and you, i believe, were capt_crazeman. i delighted in our commentary. and then we all grew up, and xanga disappeared. it is years later and tonight i found myself in my wordpress version of bluesfrombutterflies reading over posts and posts from what feels like a life time ago. and you were there, all over those posts, encouragement and delight and tilting me to keep posting my little words. i felt this surge of warmth and then this urge to find you and tell you thank you, reconnect somehow. maybe this will get to you, perhaps it won't. perhaps if it does you will find me familiar in a distant way.

i looked at your gallery and loved the visual poems i'm curious as to how they work, is it all your writing and photography, or you match other people writing to other people photography. either way is beautiful. i don't mean to offend by asking, i just never knew of visual poetry till now, and as a writer i'm curious

it's all my poetry matched up to other's photography. most of the pictures I edit slightly--usually by making a larger background to fit my more lengthy poems.
