You return with Mobis and Balthier to the Basteel. As you all look outside the fortress of Basteel, you stare in amazement at the concrete and steel walls with two giant turrets at the east and west corner. You hope that it will hold against the battle that would ensue today against one of the three strongest antagonists you would face. General Bane. Mobis scans his hand along with his retinal scan. You and Balthier do the same. When you step inside, you are greeted by your comrades Chris Redfield/ Sheva Alomar whom you helped to bring down the tyrannical Wesker, The Rock who would intimidate you with laying the smack down on your candy ass if you did not favor another piece in the gallery Mobis-New-Nest, Johnny Bravo whom aided Chuck Norris in protecting from you the Evil Dark Lord I. R. Babboon at a bus station, Fran who came with Baltheir to front doors of your residence while thanking you for the fave and threatened to rob you if you did not fave again at Mobis gallery, ratchet/clank whom saved you from the evil clutches of Dr. Nefarious during a breakfast intrusion one morning at your front door, Megatron whom ripped the roof of your very bedroom only to thank you for the fave while managing to scare you half to death, Drake whom stopped a band of mercenaries from running you down while you were feeding the ducks, lastly there was Samus and Master Chief whom unexpectedly picked you up while enjoying a nice slushy on a hot summer day and forced to use a gun to defend yourself. Mobis steps up to a high platform to draw everyone’s attention. “As you all can tell we’ve come back empty handed, Gordon will not be helping us in this time of need, our hopes for now will fall to Gandalf The White who seeks to find aid in our cause but will not be back until the light of the five day from today. Aid or not you are the greatest friends as you are fighters. I wouldn’t trade a thousand of best fighter for a single one of you as all of you have proven your worth time and time again. Today I want each of you to engrave in your minds not the number of us against the enemy nor the strength of the enemy lay before us but our dearly departed Lisa. In this final hour let our courage, our rage be fueled by our fallen comrade and if you forget let that yellow ribbon tied to each of your arms be a reminder why you must smite down your enemy” said Mobis. Everyone who heard his words including you could feel the gushing courage from your pores that now made you that much braver. Drake had headed south of Basteel where he lit the fireworks but these weren’t any fireworks, once lit they would send a symbol across the city to draw attention to the enemy General. As the fireworks began to ascend to the skies a bright streak of lights and glitter had lightened the entire block so much that one would think the sun was out. The final fireworks had created a giant letter G symbolizing what the team had stood for. Everyone had taken their places and waited. Samus and Master Chief were on the west and east turrets. Fran above the entrance holding a banner with the letter G and the words For The Fave written under it, it flapped in the wind. Mobis had stood beside her along with Balthier, Johnny, Chuck, Megtron, Chris, Sheva, Ratchet, Clank The Rock and you. Thunder clamored in the sky, the first raindrop had fallen on your nose, and you quickly wiped it away. In the distance the sound of marching was heard along with the beating of drums. The enemy soldiers had come into full view. They came by the hundreds if not thousands. In the middle among the enemy crowd was there stood out one man. He was dressed and looked more eccentric then the other soldiers near him. His skin is Caucasian and hairless. His arms were bare and massively hulking. He wore a black vest with metallic lining; his muscular massive legs were draped in black camouflage pants with boots black and glossy. He towered over the other soldiers but what made him the most intimidating was his head. It was bald with pulsating veins. His mouth and nose where encased by an elaborate contraption. There were six steel teeth like cylinders on the upper and lower part of where his mouth was. It looked like a bear trap crossed with a gasmask. General Bane. The ground shook as some of the enemy soldiers beat their drums and chanted “DESHI!” then “BASARA!” and as they approached the Basteel the chants became louder and were chanted faster “DESHI! DESHI! BASARA! DESHI! DESHI! BASARA!” you turn to The Rock “What are they saying?” The Rock replies “Rise” you start breath heavily, you feel as if you’re going into a panic attack when a warming hand touches your soldier. It was Balthier’s hand “Remember we have to hold this place on the light of fifth day and then Gandalf will come” you smile and nod to him but looking over the crowd of men who wanted nothing more than to spill your blood, you couldn’t help but want Gandalf to come now with aid. “DESHI! DESHI! BASARA! DESHI! DESHI! BASARA!” went the chanting but stopped along with the movement when General Bane had raised his left fist in the air. A soldier handed him a megaphone. “I must commend you Mr. Nest. You healed, survived and escaped yet all in vein, but tell me what words of comfort did you give your comrades today before they die?” no one replied to General Bane “No matter, you shall be joining your late comrade Lisa, gentlemen leave Mr. Nest to me but as for the rest. WIPE THEM OUT, ALL OF THEM!” yelled General Bane and with that the assault on Basteel had begun.
