The name change was something I wanted done since Chapter 2. For 2 reasons:
a. The account name is technically the de facto name of the comic itself since I didn't think to give the whole thing a title. And from a 'marketing' perspective, 'SheMask' is rather too narrow and too niche a name to gain traction from anyone outside this tight circle. If I wanted to cast a wider net, I had to give it a more generic, recognisable name.
b. The story's focus and POV will always be Evelyn's. At least for what I've planned in the coming chapters. That said, I didn't want to limit and bind myself to a name with a very specific scope in mind. All previous stories surrounding the Mask have simply carried that title. This should be no different.

At least we had two She-Mask episodes.
But we never got to see Freakazette in Freakazoid, who would have been just as interesting.

I can definitely see similarities. The ones that definitely comes to mind are their nearsightedness and how both seem to wear rather modest clothing. Besides that, what else do you see?

Since Fish Guy had the mask once, I wonder how it would work on Pete.
But you could argue that Pete gave the best freakouts when he saw the wearers so he's funnier without it.
Plus Charlie Adler played many zany characters already.
