# About me
With over twenty-five years experience as an amateur 35mm film photographer, in 2003 I made the (surprisingly traumatic) move to digital and have been steadily adding to my portfolio since then.
I have been successful selling stock commercial images through iStockphoto. Shutterstock, Crestock and other prominent on-line stock photo sites since 2004. I use DeviantArt to showcase my more artistic photos and digital artwork.
I'm always open to constructive criticism, so please feel free to comment on anything I post, particularly if you can help me improve.

No problem.
IΒ΄m sort of busy too. Trying to do probably too many things at once, but I guess thatΒ΄s life. So, overall, IΒ΄m fine. How are you?

Thank you so much. Sorry for the delay responding, I've been swamped by life and haven't thought to log in here for a while.
I hope your Christmas was happy and that your New Year is going good so far.

My pleasure.
I've been shooting railroad tracks off and on over the last 15 years and still haven't gotten a shot as well lit and interesting as yours.Β
Great job!

Oh wow, thank you so much! Would you mind sharing what you think is interesting about it? I did not feel that this was one of my stronger shots, honestly. XD

Wow...well, after looking through your portfolio, I do agree that you have one or two that I liked even more than this one...however, for this, it's Β combination of a lot of things..the lighting, of course, is wonderful. How it reflects off the curve of the tracks and how it highlights selective greens in the plants alongside the tracks. I like the slightly amped-up touches of red in the foreground. Also, the framing - the low angle from which you shot it really adds to the whole feel of the image.
I like it.
