That is for sure! What I always find hard is trying to get a cool background, and Frazzetta just made eveything look easy. I still look at his books and go DAMN how did come up with that awesome idea!

Never heard of Slaine? you need to google some images, very inspirational
I tend to use yery dark pencils (5b,7b)for deep shadows and gradually blend them out with a blending Stump/ Tortillon till it looks right. Then use a rubber to get the light highlights. Hope that helps.
