Well, I had wanted to ask you about doing this for a while, and actually tried to gather some of the necessary people, but it proved challenging for me.. >>;; I was using a dog mule/temp avi.. Stupid story. And while I got SOME of them, I'm not sure if anyone else has replied. I've not been able to look because I end up not having time or something pops up and gaia does NOT care for my phone much.. xD But, it could be a good idea to restart and I also planned on doing surprise art of them too, like singles or pairs.. But, you don't have to do that. I just need a huge distraction now... And busying myself will definitely be a good distraction. Plus, I've always wanted to do it. I'm rambling, sorry.

Aww well, I am very much excited to do this. Who were you able to get in touch with? I think the only people I have any way of contacting other than on gaia are Sev, Axel, and Kaitlyn. The others sort of disappeared into the universe without leaving me a way to find them T_T
I can at the very least remember what a lot of people's avi's used to look like as well, finding all of their current pages shouldn't be too difficult.

Surprise art also sounds like a great idea, pairs of the people who got along the best, or had little rivalries, etc. right?

I thought about doing this once before too, I even had a rough draft of the group shot but a lot of things came up at the time and really pushed me into a bad place and I never finished. I have a very large amount of free time these days though so it sounds like a great time to me.

Same here, I was like bouncing off the walls when I initially started trying..xD Hence why my mule left a very off the wall comment on your page.. I was able to get a hold of Ryu, Axel, Xem, Cein, and Luna.. The others, not so much.. ; .; I hate it when people poof like that.  I just went for a search for CY's original forum and stalked from there..

I know what you mean.. I have had similar situations.. I've considered doing this for a long while, had it pictured in my head but never could get around to actually doing it because either there was more pressing stuff going on or my brain just wanted to poop out, plus my desktop died. But, when I was li,e "alright we gotta do this!", I immediately thought of you and doing it with ya. :L I've got oodles of free time as well, and need something that will keep me in good moods, and this is something that can do that.. ewe;;

Well that's a fair number of people, we'll probably need a list of anyone who we haven't found so that we can at least get a reference for their avis.
Acelia, Roxie, Cytoxic, Crayons/Lime, Venge, Nai, Izzy, Silent, Lei, Eaon, Armada, Wolfy, Sev, Salinga
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that you didn't list, anyone you can remember?
A few of the names I listed may be more from the first version of the thread, but A lot of them migrated over at least for a while. I'm not sure how much someone has to be there to be considered part of our "family portrait".

It likes to ignore strangers.. All, "Stranger danger! Do the windmill! Run like crazy!" or, "If you stay completely still..it will never notice..". Yeah, I'm suprised I actually got so many people..; Hmm.. Well, would you count Zesu, Cantu, Ducky, Yami, Jello, Rainbow, Jub, Lipton, Gale maybe.. then there was Sora/Kaji, Kool, at one point there was Disco, does Faerie count, Momo, Shades, Kage, Pyro, Minajerie?? Jeebus this list will never end..XD I've been looking through my old posts in CY to find out if we missed out on anybody.. ._.;; Takes a bit to get through sometimes..
First or second thread, I'm just trying to find the CY regulars..xD I'm not sure how to count people into the family portrait either.. o-o;;

Oh, hey, random side note. I don't think you would remember but, I told people in CY I was 4'11, turns out, I'm 4'10 and some change. Do you know how sad I was when I found this out?! I'd been living a lie! I had always thought I was 4'11!

Yes those people are definitely on the list, I don't know if I remember a Faerie, perhaps I remember them by a different name xD. Can't believe I forgot some of those ones. It's definitely a long list, but it was also a very long thread haha.
I guess we should do the people who we remember the most/were there the longest, then go from there?

So many people! So many naaames! Dx That thread lasted for quite a long time, surprisingly. Most threads die in a matter of hours. Sometimes minutes. o-o;; Yeah, doing that makes sense, and it'd be easier.

Well, I guess since it was both an art thread and a hangout spot it helped in keeping people both entertained and endeared by it all. I have to admit there are some friends I made there that I wouldn't trade for the world, so I can understand how it lasted so long. For me it's surprising that there was actually as much art as there was, considering our normal shenanigans and everything else.

We had plenty of fun little group dynamics. I don't know if people realized it but for the longest time I was basically a big brother to Venge. There was the little group of fiction/rp writers like Nai, and Yami, the crazy coincidental geographic groups like myself, Lime, and Wolfy all living within like 3 hours of eachother, and there was more romance and intrigue then there was probably any right to have xD
I remember when we even made a map of the thread to assign people rooms and such based on how we were all connected.

But, but.. the lies upon lies! Next you're gonna try telling me you don't have cat ears! T_T

Yea, it totally does. But even the free-handed stuff I do off my tablet doesn't look so bad.. And I can still do what you do, take a picture of it, of course from there I transfer it to my photoshop and usually re-draw it if its anything really important.. Like a piece I'm attempting to do now.. BUT ANYWAY.. I totally get what you mean by taking pics of your work and them turning out lookin spaztic... ._.;; Scanners are really somewhat necessary..
