Obviously the solution is to make a brand new art site and invite all the fun people. Or become admins and wield a banhammer of justice. Or better yet, become major stockholders in DeviantArt and force a site purge.
Second site crackdown I've seen lately, the first being TV Tropes after being repeatedly humiliated by CrazyGoggs' "This Troper" series (channel here: [link] ) which originally started with removal of individual pages, then an entire section of the site, and now an entire sitewide cleanup. On one hand it's good because they're cleaning a lot of shit from the waters and removing the pages centered on shota or porn, but on the other hand they removed the Euroschlock page because 'it's not necessary' and fuck them because I love reading about that crap.
Goggs is a true champ in his own right and so was most of the BHB for exposing the pornography and art thievery on the site. It's people like them that can make the the little differences that matter.
