# About me
"The world is not yet done." Here we are, adding to the world with every word and every picture. I've been building my own little world for years, and I love wandering through everybody else's worlds too.What does Valkeus mean? Valkeus technically means 'white' in Finnish, but here it's the name of one of my muses (the white one with black details). Valkeus represents my quest for excellence, so he's the 'patron muse' of this account. You can see my muses [here] .
Comments! I love useful feedback! When you tell an artist why a piece appeals to you, or even why it doesn't, it helps them as well as you! They can learn from your input, and you get ideas for improving your own work.
Watchers and Friends: I am grateful for every watcher, but I don't always give watch for watch. Please don't feel bad if I don't watch you back, or wait a long time to do so. I do return helpful comments and critiques, though! I tend to become friends with people who give detailed comments and love to talk about art.
Commissions and Trades: Head/bust sketches start at $10, full body sketches $20+. Note me for details. I might do an art trade with a friend if I’m itching to draw a certain character.
Journal Tags and Chain Letters: You can tag me in your journal, but I'll probably just answer the questions. No chain letters, please.
I disappear a lot... but I always come back! Be patient with me and I'll give you quality comments and responses. I don't forget my friends.

Just as a totally random question, which types of morality do you find most appealing or interesting in fiction: black vs white, grey vs grey, white vs white, white vs grey, grey vs black, or black vs black (Warhammer 40k is a good example)? Or, do you think the types of moralities are an irrelevant way to categorize fiction?

Definitely. It has much more fan service than Gurren Lagann does, but its underlying themes, its fast-paced engaging, its great character development, and its intriguing setting far outweighs any of Kill la Kill's negative qualities.
Whatever you do, I wouldn't recommend any mainstream animes such as Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, or Fairy Tail. Too much filler and not enough content.

My husband is hoping I'll watch an episode of Bleach, so I'll at least do that, haha. My policy is that if someone else provides the DVD and cues it up for me, I will try one episode of anything (unless it's like, Urotsukidoji or something). Maybe I'll like it, maybe not XD

How do I whiten areas of my photograph of my drawings using GIMP?

Here are two good ways:
--Look under the "Colors" tab and you'll find Brightness-Contrast, Threshold, Levels, and Curves. I recommend playing with those tools and seeing which ones adjust the light and dark areas to your liking.
--You can simply paint over the spaces with white. That's a bit time-consuming, so you can accomplish something similar by selecting an area with one of the select tools and filling it with white.
Those are sort of vague, so feel free to ask if you want more details! Disclaimer: Everything I learned about the GIMP I learned through messing around, so my methods might not be the most efficient. Hope it helps!
