Uh... generally? Blegh. Broke up with boyfriend (which deleted a BUTT TON of stress from my life), fought a lot with my grandmother, started frequently visiting my mom and lived with her for two months, started college, mad at college because of financial aid delays (six week delay D:<), got some kittens, gonna be getting chickens, still no job XD But I do have a volunteer position once I get the gas money to make it to the training sessions.

College is going alright. Been doing some figure drawing this semester, getting really good at it (to the point I wanna like hide it from my teacher because she fangirls over my shading). I haven't decided a major yet, I wanna see if there are any more AG classes that are interesting and try on some bio classes before I set it 'in stone' as ART.

Yeah, with the kittens my brother and I only saved two, a little female caliby and a male grey tabby of sorts (I say of sorts because he's got spots, not stripes). The male, Sockpuppet, is mine, and mom kept the female, Patches. They've gotten so big and they're SOO mama's kitties XD My kitty lets me hold him however I wish, so long as it doesn't hurt him, and he'll even go to sleep, and if I'm sleeping in the back of my truck with him and he's on me, and I roll really slowly, he'll get up and walk sideways to stay on me and then settle back down XD And I know he's a mama's kitty because one time, I went up after a bad week, and my mom told me my cat was gone. She'd been searching for HOURS because she was dreading the look on my face when she had to tell me 'I'm sorry, Sierra, but I don't know where your cat is.' Mom said it was this horrible heartbroken shock (heck I'm tearing up over it right now). Well, after helping her quietly for about forty-five minutes, all of a sudden we hear some frantic meowing at the door, and I yank it open and there's my Soxy Boy! And the first person's arms he leapt into wasn't the woman he lived with, but mine, and he pressed himself as close as possible. Someone had tried to take my baby but he knew his mommy needed him and got out <3

Aw, tragic events? Das non vas bene... You don't need to elaborate though if you don't want to.

Interesting tidbit about this week so far: I'd been talking to this guy on POF (Plenty of Fish) for about a month, but I didn't hear from him since last Thursday until Wednesday (three days ago). He said he wasn't feeling too good, and I asked why, and he said 'Google my name.' 
Well, now, I'm telling you. Google 'Jon-Luc Laporte' and click on the "News" tab... and look at how close I came to something scary.

Aww that's so cute ^.^ You're lucky to have such an affectionate kitty He sounds like a sweetheart! I'm sorry you had that scare, but at least he came right home to see his mommy! He wasn't hurt or anything, was he? Compared to your cat, mine is such a bitch XD She hates being picked up, and god forbid if you disturb her while she's asleep XD She can be affectionate at times but most of the time she just wants to play.

Yea, a couple deaths in my boyfriend's family. The most devastating one being his mom. Since then we've really been struggling to stay on our feet and life is starting to take its toll. But I am grateful to have my best friend. She really keeps me sane and I owe a lot to her. <333

Sure, I can do that. I mean I'm rather proud of a few and I haven't posted anything for a while, so why not XD AG is 'agriculture'. And I had to pick a major in order to qualify for financial aid, but I switched it not too long ago, from AAD (Applied Art and Design) to just ART.

Haha XD Our cats are something else, EVERYONE always comments on how different they are. If our babies are sleeping and we pet them, all we get is a meow and then purring until they're asleep again. Last week, after Halloween, I opened up like eight packages of Starbursts (the two-candy packs) and started stacking the candies on Sox's head while he slept. I got to 7 before one fell on his nose and woke him up XD
There's also this 'stray' (in quotes because I might've accidentally adopted her) at Mom's, the neighbor named her Maya (because he's trying to adopt her for his little brat). She's such a sweety. She lets me hold her like a baby and she's only bitten me once. I'm thinking about taking her when I get my own place, just... you know, Maya just HAPPENS to be in my truck when I go home. I just have to make sure the neighbor doesn't see me do it, I don't need him retaliating on Mom for rescuing Maya.

Ouch, that's awful! Give him a hug from me, I'm sorry to hear that...

Oh yeah XD I was all 'Thanks for being honest but bye!'. I'm done looking for boyfriends/girlfriends, they can find me for once, damn it XD And preferably after I've got a job and my own place but BEFORE my mom moves in with me XD

She is a stray after all. And they haven't taken her to vet for her shots or anything yet, have they? If not, she's totally your cat XD But I know how petty some people can be, so I certainly hope he doesn't retaliate on your mom :\

Thanks for your sympathies. He actually took it way better than I did. I believe its because he is used to, or has become numbed, to family deaths. He's lost a lot of family , so I guess that's why.

Mostly on logo and ad design and such, learning how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. It was pretty fun but not a course I'd take again.

It depends. Sox can be pretty deep for some things but normally a simple pet will wake them up to a point. Maybe not fully, but enough to make them stretch and purr for a few moments.
Maya is a tortie, a true tortie as there isn't a single white fur on her XD Really pretty sweet cat, still kinda timid due to the house she'd been in before. She's got a collar and stuff now, I don't know if I can take her now. I mean, if I did it right they'd never suspect me, they'd just think she decided to live elsewhere... despite my religious filling of her food bowl when I'm up there. And of course he hasn't taken her in for her shots or to get spayed or chipped. He spends all his money on drugs. Well actually this month I made sure he spent it on at least some food and pet supplies but it was gone within like... a week. 20lb bag of food for Indie Boy but a friggin 3lb bag for Maya. I guess he figured since I had the 16lb bag he didn't need it, though I bought it for our cats too...
 
Speaking of being up there, more exciting news. I had to take Mom to the ER on Sunday. She had an abscessed spider bite that had started developing necrotic tissue. Mom actually got the venom sack out, and let it drain for about three hours before fruitless at-home care searches finally persuaded her to let me take her to the hospital. We were in and out in about three hours, including the cutting open and packing and bandaging and all that fun stuff. The nurse doing it all was cute XD

There's a girl that I actually really like in my English class, and she's bi too, but... It's just like not one of those things XD Plus I don't want someone just as irresponsible as me XD Someone to kick my a** into gear would be nice XD

Aww, I love doing that to my kitty XD If she's in a good mood, she'll make cute purring noises too XD Ah, a torties are really cute ^.^ My dad used to have one named Mable, but she sadly passed away several years ago. Well I do hope you are able to take Maya even though she's already got a collar and stuff. But if that guy isn't really taking the best care of her then he doesn't deserve to have her. You constantly feed her, but he just spends all his money on drugs. :\  so if anything she is more yours than anyone elses. She seems like she would love you more anyway. XD

Maya was so sweet last weekend!! She acts like a dog whilst still being a kitty XD I got out of the back of my truck Saturday morning, and as I was coaxing my animals to the tailgate so I could lift them out I hear excited meowing and feel fur against my feet. She saw me in front of Derrick's house and ran over to greet me and ask me for food XD She also doesn't shy away or run away from me much anymore. She's definitely my kitty, and definitely coming with me.

Yeah. It's getting a lot better. No longer quite as disgusting-looking, getting smaller. Her Asia-shaped sharpie mark isn't though XD

So I signed up for my next term's classes. Lots of fun ones. Geography, Game Development Process, Drawing II, and Marine Biology. In order, 8am to 9pm. HOWEVER... the class I was most looking forward to has become the one I'm going to dread: Chase, my ex boyfriend, is in my Game Development class, and there is no class I'd be willing to switch it out for.

No clue. Now apparently the bite is doing better but she's having other potentially-serious issues that will most likely land her in the emergency room again... Just like Saturday morning (like BARELY Saturday) our friend Ronnie stumbled in with Mom and his mom and he had his hand wrapped up in his jacket and bloody and stuff and he was like "Mom... help...". I guess his girlfriend (or ex or whatever she is) has been going around saying he was beating her, so three guys jumped him and tried to hack off his hand with a machete, saying 'We hear you like to hit girls'. So he was rushed to the hospital to have it reattached and stuff. We had to go get his Keflex prescription (can't afford his $125 oxycodone).

He'll probably leave me alone, but I know he's going to constantly open his stupid face and speak. I'm taking secret pleasure in the fact that he's let himself go a little though. He's a little pudgier and his hair is NASTY looking.

Origins <3 Alistair's in Inquisition for like twenty seconds. He's so different than in DA or II The adorable Templar that is madly in love with your mage character (if you play a female mage in Origins) is in all three games and in Inquisition you can romance him <3 <3 <3

Sorry it's taken me so long, I've been so busy with school, life... Mostly losing my cat, Sox. Someone took him away, killed him, and brought him back. He now resides in a brass-and-abalone urn my mom found. To kind of distract myself I've gotten two fish tanks set up, one is a ten gallon, completely planted, with a betta and a mystery snail, and it's nearing completion. I just need to get the carpet growing a little better, and perhaps a secondary carpet plant. 
The other tank I'm working on (still requiring the TANK) is my Red Cherry Shrimp tank. I have them in a 7L bowl right now, I need to get them a tank. Not sure what I'm gonna get them, I have a $50 3G tank in mind right now, but I might just buy them a basic 5-10 gallon tank and slowly deck it out myself, like I have Glimmer and George's tank (betta and snail, respectively). The only difference between them all really is just how many shrimp I can house. It's about 10 shrimp per gallon... but I dunno. I've just gotten very excited, especially since right now I have three pregnant shrimpies

That sounds awesome! I didn't even know you could keep shrimp as pets XD I had to look up what cherry shrimp exactly are, but they look very pretty ^.^ And never mind on the question above, you already answered it xD Those are cute names for your betta and snail. "My" other cat, Maya, is pregnant, and Mom said I can get take a kitten from the litter ^.^ I say "my" because six weeks after the kittens are born, I'm gonna see about getting her fixed, and once that happens, she's our cat completely. Grandma even agreed to let me bring her and my kitten down (at different times so that the kitten learns ME as mom instead of Maya).

Glimmer was a pinkish/lavenderish/whitish veiltail betta with tricolor fins: small blue stripe, then a thick red stripe, then the rest was white. But he jumped out of his bowl and died. Then I bought (and returned) Frostbite, a white/ice blue and black halfmoon plakat. Then Spock, a black crowntail betta with red fins but he died due to overwhelming fungus. Right now I've got Glory, a BEAUTIFUL blue-and-purple crowntail whose coloring leaks into his fins but the ends are all white. I love him and right now he's dealing with constipation but other than that he's okay, and I hope he lasts me a long long time. ALl I know is that I'm gonna stick to one betta until I've got a job and a place of my own, where I can afford to have various different tanks for different bettas. Or a couple divided ten gallons XD I had to take the divider out of mine for Banjo (first banjo cat. He died because of a flesh wound, fungus, and fin rot...)
I'm down to about... eh, fifteen shrimp. Both yellow-egg female shrimp had their eggs hatch but I've got absolutely no idea if the babies survived. If I notice small shrimp, I'll know. I also came into possession of a whole bunch of pregnant platies, and THOSE babies I can actually see! Both of my tanks have some in there since I just had a major ammonia scare in one tank due to overpopulation.  But the baby fish are so adorable. I've got, in total:
1 - betta
1 - banjo catfish
4 - Hillstream loach
7 - Mystery snail
10 - Kuhli loach
12 - platy (9 female 3 male)
15 - red cherry shrimp
I'm not counting the baby platies yet, they're too hard to keep in stock and the breeder box kills them. I've also got loads and loads of plants in my tanks. I'm saving up for a 29g kit at the local depot, so I can take the load off of my tanks. I may have gone a bit overboard XD I've spent over $400 on these two tanks. I just need the larger one to put most of my plants in and let it sit and cycle and everything will be okay.

Ah I see. I'm sorry about Glimmer He sounds pretty and reminds me of a betta I had named Spirit, who was similarly colored. And I am sorry for your other fish as well. D: Is it just me, or do bettas kind of die easily. I've had one last me years, but many of my others only a few months I hope your new fish lasts a long time as well ^.^ Glory sounds like he has some gorgeous colors.
That sounds like a good idea though XD I've always wanted to have multiple bettas, but I never have the room for all the tanks and what not. Oh man, poor Banjo D: Sheesh, I'm very sorry to hear about him as well.
When do you think you'll start seeing the little tiny shrimp? Will it take some weeks? Aww yay! Again, congrats ^.^ I bet they're so adorable Aw oh no D: None of the babies died did they?

I might end up with Maya down here completely, since Mom and I are kinda fighting. Mom said I was no better than the people doing all this to her, if she makes me cry one more time because she's so stupidly stubborn and prideful I'm going up, grabbing Maya, and bringing her down here. No, I don't know what gender I'm going to choose, but it'll be either a tortie, some uniquely-colored cat, or a really really pretty tabby that I choose. I won't know 'til they're born and I probably won't make my decision until they're three weeks of age.

Glory actually might not make it. I had a major ICH breakout. 16 fish in the hospital tank! 10 platies (3 of them pregnant and one in the process of dropping), five kuhli loaches, and my betta are all in the hospital tank. Glory also has septicemia, which I can't afford medication for. Hopefully they all make it though. And my fish list has changed XD
1 - betta
1 - banjo catfish
1 - Angelfish
1 - golden dojo loach
2 - otocinclus catfish (though I think one's sick?)
7 - Mystery snail
10 - ghost shrimp (5 pregnant)
16 - platy (11 female 5 male) (three 1.5 week old fry in the 10g tank, two surviving newborn fry in the 20g tank)
15ish - red cherry shrimp (I've found one baby shrimp)

The most expensive tank I have cost me $15, it's what I've put in them that cost so much. I've gotten some back by taking some fish in 'cause I had three of my hillstream loaches die in a span of 10 hours, and I've lost one shrimp and a lot of baby platies. But, like, I have about $60 worth of plants, $30 worth of gravel and $20 worth of sand, $60 worth of heaters and another $60 for filters, the decor, and the fish themselves. My Angelfish Nickel so far is my most expensive (non-Betta) fish, at $5 for just him, closely followed by my golden loach. I'll probably try and get my platies and loaches in the big tank, maybe my Angel if it takes me a bit and he's gotten big. You know, if anyone if even survives.

Holy crap, in just 6 days I've spent $500... I need to slow down 'cause this has to last until I've got a job or until this fall...

Aww I'm sorry you and your mom are fighting You probably should take her with you anyway. How long till she gives birth to the kittens? That'll be cool though ^.^ Torties are very pretty I see though.

Really? D: Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that too Sheesh, how does that happen though? My sympathies to all your poor fish D: Oh man, Glory has sepsis? That's not good How would you go about treating that anyway. I didn't even know fish could get sepsis!
Oh nice, an angel fish ^.^ I had always wanted one of those. My mom did too, but for some reason she wouldn't let me get them :\ She said they took too much care for fish. Is that true? Are they high maintenance fish? Ooo, ghost shrimp sound cool
 
Oh I see. Hm, that is a good point. I've only ever had like 1 or two fish at a time. But now that I recall, even the entire cost for them was quite expensive :\ Especially my bala sharks. And they didn't last more than a couple months sadly. That is a lot of fish and plants and decorations XD Aww don't say that D: They'll survive. I have hope for them!

I did, Maya's here and staying here and she'll be having her kittens any day now. Don't know exactly when, but I figure by Friday I'll have kittens.

If one fish carried it in, they all can get it if they're stressed. Since my water parameters aren't exactly perfect (nitrite goes through sudden [non-fatal] spikes and our water has NO alkalinity) the fish could be a little stressed, even if they don't look like it. However, the tank numbers have change: 

Hospital tank:
1 betta
2 kuhli loaches
2 dojo loaches
1 dragon goby
2 oto cats
15 platy

20 gallon:
1 banjo cat
3 baby platy
2 cherry shrimp
5 ghost shrimp
2 african dwarf frogs

10 gallon:
1 dwarf flame gourami
12 guppies
5 platy (1 male adult, 4 babies)
10? cherry shrimp

And I'm absolutely done spending because my tanks can't hold anymore and I'm down to $1000 XD

As for angels. Freshwater angels actually aren't high-maintenance fish. If you cycle your tank first, and provide them with hiding places (real plants are so much better because they won't snag those beautiful delicate fins) BUT room to swim, all you have to do is watch your parameters and feed it. They're not like discus fish XD

Yes, Bagheera and Pancake are nearly two weeks old (13 days today). Pancake is a ginger/blonde tabby and Bagheera is a black tabby. I get to keep him, and I actually witnessed every second of his birth, and I guess Pancake is going to Mom, who is stupidly letting her cat out again. Ah well... if she loses Patches then she loses me for good.

There is, actually! If a fish is "flashing", meaning they're lining themselves up with the edge of something and then darting past it for a good scratch, or they're doing that to the substrate below, then you've got a great chance of either a horny male platy or a fish infected with ICH. XD If it's not a male platy, or the occasional female, it's the parasite.
There are only three fish in the hospital tank now:
1 cobra guppy female
1 dwarf gourami
and my last surviving adult dwarf coral platy.

Yeah, numbers have changed again. Still 17 platy, with one being in the 10 and 16 in the 20 (I'm expecting fry any time soon, and if the gourami is clean by the dropping date I can use my cool breeder's trap to maximize the number that make it). My betta died a mysterious and ugly death But my favorite fish, the dojo loaches, seem to be doing great, so that's always a plus.

You could actually comfortably house 4 angels in a 30 gallon. You would then just have to stick to semi-aggressive fish, since that's what angels are. With one, if you're lucky, you could get away with dumb fish like platies, mollies, or guppies in a tank with an angel. But with a group, you'd do better with red-tailed/rainbow sharks, gouramis (careful though they don't like fish prettier than them), plecos, and discus. Sometimes little guys like cherry barbs and other shoaling fish, too.

Aw yay ^.^ They sounds adorable! I love the lighter tabbys, they are so pretty. That's so cute though. So you probably felt very close to him since you watched him be born. Aw well hopefully she'll stop letting her cat out. That's why I don't like having indoor-outdoor cats. It worries me so much, especially because people will just scoop up animals and take them to the shelter or keep them for themselves. :\ Just anything can happen and its freaky >.<

Really? That's very interesting, I never knew that. Does that flashing thing go just for platies or all fish? I've had fish get sick before but by the time I realized they were sick it was too late.

Sheesh, it seems like you have to do a lot though to take care of all these fish. I commend you for being able to take care of them all so well. I never had much luck with fish, but I had mollies once. They didn't last long either. Poor guppies though. I know fish get kind of spooked when others die around them.

So turns out if I keep my room up and grandma doesn't have to pay TOO much, I get to keep all three cats! Maya, Bagheera, and Simba (changed his name). They're six weeks old this Friday, where does time go? <3 They're still having SOME litter box issues, and they like to knock over my recycling basket, but otherwise they're just cute little butts.

All fish will flash if they're sick with ICH, because they're itching. The parasite burrows into their skin and encysts itself, and it causes them to itch so they scrape themselves against something to try and relieve it. However, the flashing is usually only for ICH. If it's for ammonia/nitrite poisoning, they dart around gasping for air. Other sicknesses have their own symptoms, or scarily, none at all until it's too late.
NAWP. Five longfin leopard danios, five platies, and two mollies are in the sick tank XD All with ICH. I had to put the babies in there (I'd had 31, by the time the baby tank could be moved I was down to 28) because the oldest baby platy had three ICH cysts but they're back in the main tank until they're all big enough. 8 guppy babies (two of them old enough to start showing color) and 20 platy babies of all sorts of colors: calico, gold, white, red, edged. Colors may change on some. But none of them are showing any maor health issues so once their bodies are clear for two or three days everyone gets to go back home.

XD I can't have but the one gourami per tank, unless I find females somewhere. Tiger, my dwarf gourami, is a male. Females are actually really hard to come by. But as gouramis are from the same family as bettas, it's unwise to house two males in a tank as small as a 20 gallon. In my brother's 50 gallon, MAYBE. But not in a 20.
I have no idea what happened to the frogs, they might've starved though. My fish are all pigs and the food the frogs will eat (frozen bloodworms) are their favorites. No amphibians in the tank, though, all fish and inverts. Guppies are down to four adults (two males, two females), with one pregnant female that I think a male is stressing because she still seems pregnant but no babies for a few days now. I've got a new favorite female, named Bumblebee. She's a bright yellow cobra guppy, with the most VIBRANT tail I've ever seen on a female. It took me three trips to PetSmart and seeing her still there before I caved and bought her. I need a few more females so hopefully my 3 eldest guppies grow into females lol
My new mollies seem to be doing okay. I have a male dalmation lyretail, a BIG female silver lyretail, and a smaller female golden panda lyretail. They hang around each other and sometimes tease Durnehviir, my dragon goby, and they mingle with my dwarf coral platies. Everything seems to have settled down in my tanks other than the occasional ICH spike, which makes me happy. Each spike is smaller and smaller meaning less and less fish are stressed enough for the parasite to take hold. 

One or two angels, yes, since they get kind of big. If they're in the tank first, they'll establish their territories. After that, they'll protect it from any added fish, but they won't chase the other fish around harassing them.

I've got so many ideas for my brother's 50 gallon, I either want it to be a SA Cichlid tank, an African Cichlid tank, or Angels. if I do Angels, I might put most of the contents of my 20 in the 50, and my brother's goldies in the 20 (they're done growing so can fit). If I do SA Cichlids or African Cichlids, I'll have to find somewhere else for the goldies, meaning I'll have to wait until I have my own place and another tank before changing it much.

Grrrrrr........... I've got $50 to my name and 4 months until I get another chunk of financial aid XD ugh these fish are going to be the death of me but I don't care I love them all <3 and my baby kitties can't forget my baby kitties.

Mmmmmmmm grandma's making me choose a kitten DX But I'm going to do my DAMNEDEST to find a job so I can keep all three, 'cause once I get a job I'll be saving up to get out. I can't choose. Simba is my sweet little shoulder kitty and he's the one that purrs. Bagheera is the one that I wake up to cuddling with and he's the one I watched come into the world. I can't choose nor do I really want to split them up :C

Stupid tanks are developing greenwater >:C One of them is so deep and thick a green that I can hardly see the plants only five inches from the front. It's going to be very, very, very annoying to get that cleared up and if it starts up in Prism's tank I quit XD

ICH can be difficult but it can also be as easy as cranking up your heat to 80F (of course, you'd crank it slowly so as not to shock the fish to death). I did a mix of high heat and actual medication, and as a result, I don't have a single fish in the hospital tank. In fact, it's not a hospital tank anymore, but a betta tank. I got $45 for my birthday and used it to go buy cat food at PetSmart (and I had Simba on my shoulder the whole entire time I was there) and while there I checked out the bettas. They were having a sale, so one of the more expensive types was an unbelievable $3. I bought one (and three more mollies 'cause they were less than $1 a fish). He's a double tail halfmoon plakat ('plakat' is a subtype that just have smallerish fins). He's normally a deep lavender with a platinum shimmer, but depending on the light he can be a sky blue, dusky blue, bronze, pink, green, or grey.
I also sectioned off the planted part of his tank (using the divider) for the baby platies. I'd gotten up to an astonishing 60 baby fish, but every morning I'd find one or two dead, until this morning when I pulled out 8, including my one-eyed guppy baby that had gotten pretty big. I'm down to only 20 baby fish, but they have about 4 gallons to swim around in as opposed to just a tiny little breeder's trap, so hopefully they'll be better.
My adults are: one black-and-white fish with black pectoral and belly fins, and BRIGHT red tail and dorsal fins. One lavender male with orange-and-black spotted fins. One grey female with red fins with black spots. One grey female with vibrant yellow and black markings. Three unknown gender (grey bodies so far, so I'm assuming females), with two of them developing Sunset Leopard tails (which pleases me). It'll be a bit before their genders are defined, if they're anything like platies it'll be 2-3 months before anyone develops a gono.
My new mollies are a pitch black male (and I mean PITCH black, even his eyes, except for white gills), and two pale dalmation females.

They are only aggressive to fishes prettier than them because they're vain little turkeys XD But the reason females are hard to come by is gourami fry are HARDY. And they can actually be considered a pest species unless you have places willing to take the fry off your hands XD 

Number of guppy fry is impossible to predict. The more batches a female has and the better she's fed and the less she's stressed the more she can produce. But males learn quickly that females drop little snacks, and she'll be just as likely to swallow one up, so unless you catch her birthing and watch her every second for the next couple days, you won't get all of the babies. Especially in my tank where there's hardly anywhere for them to hide XD
I'll be expecting molly fry in about a month though, which can actually pose a problem. A 10 gallon is easily cramped. I have 7 3" fish swimming around in there (and four 1" fish and one 9" fish but he's on the bottom). I watched Firehouse (my dark dalmation molly) mate with the silver female several times, since she was accepting. Meaning gosh darn it all she's pregnant. XD or will be, at the very least. Which will be cool to see if they're 'pure' or if someone's got, like, a crazy-colored ancestor in there. If they're too pure, though, I'll have to switch up the contents of the tanks and make my betta understand he's got to share his bachelor pad with a breeding group of mollies XD

If/when I get Kota's 50, I'll probably just leave his goldies there for a while because I honestly have no idea. I know I'll want to do a basic aquascape so I might just keep only the goldies in it and plant it.

I asked people to buy me cat food and litter for my birthday XD 'I don't want toys, or gift cards. Just cat food and litter. Or money for cat food and litter.' My cousin is the only one that answered to that, but as I mentioned above I got a total of $45 and spent about $15 on food (dry and wet).

I'm so glad to hear you don't have a hospital tank anymore ^.^ Oh, you know, I never thought about the temperature really. I don't know why it didn't occur to me back then. My mom always kept it quite cool in our house, especially during the summer. That's probably why my bala sharks go sick so easily. Oh nice ^.^ And wow, that is pretty cheap for a betta. Usually they're like $6 - $8 at most. And wow, that must be an amazingly pretty fish. I love fish that change color in different lights ^.^
I'm so sorry about your baby fish. I hope they do well with more room. Aww one of your guppies died D: But the adults are all very pretty. Lavender with orange and black spots? That is so awesome! Nope, I haven't had to split my boys up. They're due to be neutered on the 15th of July, so Grandma will leave me alone until the. Maya just got spayed on Wednesday (June 24) and for that whole day she acted terrified of me. Now she's back to being Maya. 

Greenwater is an explosion in the population of single-celled algae in the water. Freshwater clams are pretty good at keeping it at bay, if you get a whole colony of them XD I had my tank SOOO freaking clear the other day after putting a new filter cartridge in, but then it got dirty and redistributed the algae into the tank. It's caused by an inbalance of nutrients, which is almost impossible to pinpoint, so you just have to keep working with the tanks until they get better. Prism's tank has stayed pretty clear (I haven't lost a single baby and actually just relocated a few fry to help the others grow). I have a feeling I actually got some male guppies out of this one because a few have colors on their body. I lost a female guppy, though, the grey one with the red fins, and the prettiest one that had the vibrant yellow tail now has red on it. I also lost three platies, but after that things seemed to calm down. I've decided when I have the money, I'll go out and buy a big tank and set it up and even out my tanks whilst my grandmother is out of town so she can't say anything against it XD I'm thinking a thirty to replace the 10 the mollies and guppies are in.

$8 for a betta is cheap XD The type Prism is, a double-tail halfmoon, is normally a $12-15 fish. They get even pricier once you hit show-quality (I'm talking about $100 or more).

Actually a lot of people love gourami, they just don't mate them XD The males are much prettier anyway.

No, guppies eat the babies. Guppies, platies, mollies, swordtails, halfbeaks, they're all livebearers, meaning little living babies pop out of mom and swim to safety. Mom and other fish will try and swallow them up if they can. That's why I scoop them out and put them elsewhere even though I can't really afford to because I simply don't have the room for all the fish XD I need a job so I can buy the house from my grandmother and get rid of the damned fireplace and put a nice big 125g+ out there. GUPPIES GALORE
Being too pure for a fish is the same as being too pure for a dog. It leads to issues, a lot of them being still-borns and the survivors suffering from deformities (like my one-eyed guppy).

Yea, pets seem to always act skittish and out of character after that, but they get over it XD When I was little, we had a Scottish terrier and he was quite lethargic for a day or too after being neutered. But I'm glad Maya's back to normal now

Oh ok. That doesn't sound good, and it sounds like its not easy to avoid. I would imagine its difficult to keep up with all those tanks I'm glad that they've been pretty clear so far though. Do you have to keep buying new filters or can you reuse them, like wash them out and put them back in? I think you have to buy new ones, right?
I'm sorry about your guppies though. But that sounds pretty though. Will your guppies keep getting new colors, or does that eventually stop like when they're fully grown? And you haven't lost anymore fish since then right?

The kittens came out fine, and grandma even built them a little kitty kondo. All three cats love it (and are sleeping on it at the moment). AND MAYA HAS NOT STOPPED WITH THE YOWLING. XD She does it whenever she believes her kittens have spent too much time with me. And I can't get the kittens to stop nursing on her, it's pissing me off... 

I have gotten the tanks clear, all of them. Durnehviir died, don't know what of, and the guppy tank fixed itself. It's now guppies and dwarf platies instead of mollies, and the mollies are in the twenty. I've lost one molly (my pepper dalmation) and five platies since, and I still don't know what the hell took them out. However, my fry are all doing okay, the nineteen guppies are now quite large and in the actual tank, and developing BEAUTIFUL tail colors. Guppies generally don't change color, but it might be a maturity thing, I don't know. I'm keeping eye on them because it's fun to watch them grow and notice just how big they get and how quickly. I've got some guppies with dark tails and some with solid-grey bodies, so I don't know what I'm getting. I'll know in about a month, hopefully.
My pleco has gotten HUGE. When I bought it, it was about 2 1/2" long. Now, it's about 5" long and just... huge. It makes me very pleased that my fish is healthy enough to grow that fast, but worried... it might get too big too quickly! XD
You can reuse filters to a point. One to three washes before it becomes completely filthy and needs to be switched out, then you need to buy more. Mine aren't cheap, either, I can get two for $6 or 12 disassembled ones for $20.
It wouldn't be an extra tank, it would be a replacement. Instead of two ten gallon tanks, it'd be one ten and one of whatever size I'd just bought.

Nope, all those fish are livebearers. My dwarf platies and one of my guppies (I once more never knew any of my guppies were pregnant) is dropping, I've scooped out three fry so far. I need more dwarves, I've got four males and two females and the girls are getting stressed out.

I posted a status saying 'Now I know why Cullistair makes so much sense! Cullen is like a fine cheese; he gets better with age.' and a friend commented that they immediately thought of Cullen in cheese-print underwear that Alistair would constantly try to steal. So, I drew Cullen in cheese-print boxers! I've also done two Cullrian (Cullen and Dorian, if you didn't know) pictures, and have three more queued up >.> Dunno if I'll be posting those, though.
No, I haven't beaten DAI. I still haven't even done Adamant, so I haven't slept in the lion's den XD Or ridden the bull, or scaled the wall, or tamed the snake. I've not been having a very good time in my life, so any desire to play games is fleeting. I'm normally just on my laptop or watching Netflix.

I've had the kittens in the bathroom for about a week now, I'm keeping them in there until Maya stops lactating. She has become SUCH a cuddle monster, it's adorable ^.^

Durnehviir was my dragon goby. Ah well, the tank is doing absolutely perfect now he's gone, and technically he was my brother's fish. *shrug* My fry have all gotten much bigger and genders have been sorted out. ONE. MALE. XD Eighteen females. All of them have dark tails (my male has a black body with two white spots) and they all have red-and-yellow tails. Most of them have some sort of spots on their tails, one has just the colors. My male has a very vibrant yellow stripe at the base of his tail fin, the rest is a deep deep red, with two black dots and five black lines. There are three females that I really like, too, but I think I'm going to sell the rest and introduce guppies of other colors. I want blue guppies XD
I did buy another molly, because my males, Ink and Firehouse, were bickering badly. So badly, in fact, that Ink developed dropsy. Ink was my favorite, but oh well. The new molly is a creamsicle lyretail, and her name is Creamsicle.
Bull (my pleco) will DEFINITELY get too big. It's just a matter of how quickly he gets too big XD

Not often, you should be able to go like two to three weeks between cleanings, otherwise your tank is rather dirty. Some people don't even bother with cleaning, they just pop in a fresh cartridge, but poor people like myself make due XD And yes they have disassembled cartridges for at least my brand, it's the frame, with twelve fabric sleeves and twelve packets of activated carbon. The sleeve catches the gunk, the carbon catches the rest of the nasties that get through the sleeve.

Yeah that's changed a bit XD I've decided Stok and Seva are siblings, working with versions just got confusing. I'll be uploading Stok when I think of a background for him. And the reason I'm hesitant about posting some of my others is they're very mature XD One I'm actually planning on redoing, the face and stuff bothers me. Also, live-changing decision. I've never really felt comfortable identifying as a girl, so I've decided to go with what makes me comfortable. I'm doing it carefully, so my grandmother doesn't get wind but I'm doing it. I had to carefully ask my grandmother how much it would cost to get dress pants and button-up shirts for looking for jobs, so that I wouldn't have to stuff myself into a skirt and 'pretty flats' again. It was really difficult because she was just NOT understanding XD

I have a friend who lives in Michigan, and she too doesn't identify with being a girl, but she had many friends who feel the same. Sadly one of her trans-gender friends committed suicide very recently and his family I believe was partly to blame for not accepting him the way he was. He was even mentioned in Kaitlyn Jenner's recent acceptance speech for the award she won. So its good you're doing it gradually, but still, don't let your grandma or anyone keep you down. One reason why I haven't even mentioned it to my family, or boyfriend for that matter. He would kill me...literally. My grandpa recently left his church because they allowed a gay pastor to do services there. No, but I've been good about keeping the food bowl full so I haven't caught too much nursing. Plus I give them run of the house when my grandmother isn't here, so they're typically not even in here. The kittens are doing fine, they've gotten huge XD They weigh nearly as much as Maya and they're bigger than her.

If by 'pretty fish' you were referring to Durnehviir, he was BUTT UGLY. XD If you mean Ink, he was just solid black, but like... pitch. I've never seen a fish that black. And I'm down to just two mollies, Firehouse and Creamsicle. My big silver female, whom I thought was pregnant, just died earlier this night, and my golden panda died a few days ago.
I was wrong on the guppy genders. I've got at least six male fry out of the batch. All my favorite females turned out to be male XD I also lost Bee Baby, their mother, to dropsy. Dropsy is a term for 'pineconed' fish, described as such because they bloat and their scales lift off the body. A number of things can cause it, which is why it's so hated, and once the scales start to stick out, there's no hope for the fish. I had to euthanize three to dropsy (Dapper, Bee, and Ink).
I'd sell the guppies to whoever would take them. A store if they offer credit, otherwise an individual buyer. Violet guppies would be AWESOME, especially if their whole body was violet.
Bull is approximately eight inches now. I don't remember if I said this prior, but he was just pushing 2" when I bought him XD one of my cory cats is 3", I think it's a female because it DWARFS everyone else. My platy fry in the guppy tank have reached a decent size, since there's nothing in there that will eat them, and the two young platy in my 20 are doing okay. I'm trying to persuade my grandmother to let me buy my brother's 50g but I think that'll have to wait until I get a job (which is going to wait until I get my hair cut and my chest binder(s)). She said she doesn't care what I do once I can afford it, so... XD

Yeah... grandma bullied that out of me. She trapped me in the hallway and wouldn't let me past until I 'came clean'. She's now spent several hours, over several days, trying to persuade me to 'give myself a chance' as a girl. Isn't that... kind of what I've been doing my whole life? I try something, but it's just not... not right, so I give it up. Sorry if I get too personal here but sex... sex wasn't right. I get queasy thinking about receiving normal intercourse. GIVING I seem to be okay with, but not taking as a female. But, you know, guardians are never wrong. At least she's relented enough that I can buy what I want. I can get my hair cut, I can buy slacks, button-ups, and nice shoes and ties, I can get a binder or two. She just won't help and won't refer to me as anything other than her granddaughter, Sierra.
MEANWHILE, all four of my college professors apologized PROFUSELY when they realized they got my name 'wrong', and they changed the roll-sheet to have MY chosen name on it. Second week, my math lab stuff was changed, too, though we hyphenated my chosen surname with my given surname so I could keep my seat XD All four of them know me strictly as 'Sebastian', and I've yet to have an issue responding like I did when I tried to change my name to 'Maddison' when I was younger.

I'm going to wait. After all, as Sam said, "it's the heart, not the parts". I'm actually working on designing a possible upgrade in phalloplasty, I'm hoping my ideas are plausible because if so, they could be a reality within a decade or two. That's a bit 'late' in life, but hey, look at Caitlyn! Plus think of all the young trans men who look into it that could get something actually worth paying money for. I can keep my bits (and hey, I can be like Thomas Beatie and maybe have some biological kiddos with my partner, if they wished some) and work to better it for future generations.

Kittens are a little over six months now. Simba's a little smaller than Bagheera, but they're both bigger than Maya. And I no longer think grandma's going to bother me about Simba at all. She jokes to people, and she constantly brings it up, but she never pushes it. She likes him too much. I recently-ish bought them an actual kitty kondo, which they appreciate much more than the one grandma built. Still using that one too, though.

Yeah, I seem to suck at keeping mollies and guppies. From 27 guppies I'm down to about 5. I've lost all my prettiest ones save two that I bought. They started out with white tails but have since developed lavender. One's name is Oprah Finfrey. I HAD this lovely yellow cobra male, but he died shortly after I changed the water in the tank. I just lost my last male molly to finrot, so I've got two black females and Creamsicle still. The money my guppies gave me (cuz I repeatedly lost batches of just-bought guppies) were enough to buy a new gourami (Tiger died of dropsy. He's the only fish I've actually cried over so far) and six longfin black skirt tetras, as well as some fish food. My tank's bioload is once again overloaded but I'm keeping on top of it because I've got far too many fish that I'm actually attached to. My little glass catfish has pulled through, and I've got a bunch of bottom-dwelling catfish. Yes, female cory cats are bigger than males, btw. My bottom-dwelling fish are 5 cory cats, 2 dojo loaches, 2 khuli loaches, 1 bumblebee catfish, 1 striped raphael catfish.
My senior english teacher just gave me about $1000 in fish supplies. A 50 gallon tank STAND, the hood, two light mounts, a blue light, a 340 Fluval filter, an UNDERMOUNT air pump (fuckers are hard to find, pumps normally have to be ABOVE the tank) all the media for the Fluval, a tank brush, and a magnetic algae cleaner. So one of these days when I'm feeling particularly restless I'll have to clean everything up, rearrange my room, get the stand in there with my 20g and get everything situated, and show my teacher. And now that I have all this shit, Grandma is no longer against me getting my brother's 50 next term. It will cost me $50 for the tank, about $30 for the substrate, and then however much a 50+g heater will cost. Or, depending on how big Monstro is, I'll trade him one of my tanks for his tank.

This is all out of order but I'm writing as it comes to mind. NOT ALL FISH will stop growing if their tank is too small. Sharks will grow until the lack of space kills them. Same with things like knifefish and most eels. Some fish end up getting stunted, like a discus. For all I know, I could've severely shortened Bull's lifespan by putting him in too small of a tank. Fortunately, if he survives, he's only got another 4.5 months to wait until I've got a tank big enough for him XD And when I put everything that's in my 20 into the 50, it'll probably be JUST hitting the bioload. Until Bull grows, that is, since he can reach up to two feet in length. If he actually reaches that I'll be so fucking proud. XD HOPEFULLY, though, by the time he's reached full length, I'll have my own place, and a 120 to put him in.

I got my hair cut. It's about 3" at its longest. I also dyed it a shocking red XD I'd wanted a deeper red, but my hair is strawberry blond, so I guess I have to go with ammonia dyes, or an ammonia-free auburn next time. People seem to REALLY like my hair, even my family, who normally bitches when I cut it, and they've even 'approved' of my hair color. I've also been able to afford one dress suit for finding jobs and stuff (apparently I'm on the right track for getting hired at PetSmart), and one pair of jeans for everything else. I wear the jeans at school, mostly, as well as some of the 7 Men's shirts I've been able to pick up. But after fixing my truck's brakes ($427) and paying grandma all my rent ahead of time ($500) I'm living on the dollar. I've got $200 to spend per month on phone, gas, and food, until my next payment of financial aid, PROVIDED I pass these classes. At the rate my English Professor is going, I'm NOT going to pass her class...

Just the ones that you have to place on top. Glad your grandma won't have a problem about the 50g tank now that you have the things for it. That's less you actually have to spend money on. Will you set all that stuff up soon, or wait till right before you get the tank and the other supplies?

Its cool XD I think I responded to some things out of order as well. Ah ok, I wasn't sure I've had a lot of people tell me different things regarding fish growth and the size of the tank. When I got my sharks the people at the pet store said I was barely cutting it with a 30g tank for 2 of them. They really recommended a larger tank, but I barely had the money for the fish, the filter, decorations, etc. I really just could not get another tank. And then all that money was wasted when they did not long after I got them. But at least I didn't get a 50g tank for nothing. But I hope Bull can last until you get that bigger tank. 4 months isn't too long. He should be ok, right? Holy crap, he could get that big? XD Nice. I hope he can grow to that size Though, I agree, the 120 tank would be better for that. Will he stop growing at any point, or will he just keep growing till he reaches 2 ft?
