Aww thanks!! Well, it was applied with henna, which is a paste made from henna leaves -- the one I used comes ready-made in a tube, and I squeeze it out to make the pattern. It will stay on like it is in the photo for a few hours, then it dries and crumbles off, leaving a reddish-brown stain behind, which may last from five days to two weeks (the time depends on the brand you're using).
