Genji had no idea why he was back in Hanamura. He had decided to return to Japan for a short visit, but he wasn't sure if he truly belonged here anymore. He didn't know if people would even recognize him.
Walking through the familar streets, he thought he saw a face he recognized from his youth. Dark hair with a distinctive white streak, hazel-green eyes... it had to be her.
"ShinjΕ«?"

Since Amoris are known to be connected to wolves(and also turning into one), she heard her own name being said, and turned around to see if she could spot who said her name.
"Huh? Who's there?"

Genji walked over to the familiar-looking woman. He wasn't sure if she would recognize him with his face covered by his helmet, but it was worth a try.
"Don't you recognize me?"

"Um. I don't really know. I see a lot of omnics-"
She stopped herself. With her keen hearing, she could hear the sound of a heartbeat under all the armour and inner mechanics.
"Oh.. Sorry. Cyborg. My mistake."

"Don't worry, it's an easy mistake to make at first glance. But if you saw my face, I am sure you would recognize me."
Moving his hands up to his helmet, Genji removed the metal visor that covered his face.

Her eyes widened at his face, mouth slightly agape at seeing the familiar brown orbs he has like his brother.
"Genji... You're... You're alive...."

Genji replaced the visor before replying.
"Yes, I am alive. I know this probably comes as a shock to you, and you probably have a lot of questions."
He looked around.
"Maybe we should go somewhere quieter. I'll explain everything to you then."

She nods her head slowly, then motions for him to follow her to her home where her brother leads since her father's passing 13 years ago. Getting past the large gate with the Amori crest, avoiding being seen by guards or servants as they go in and to her room where it does offer enough privacy for the two to talk

Genji entered the room and closed the door behind him. He sat cross-legged on the floor as he began to talk.
"I presume you want to hear my story?"

"All of it... From the time of what Hanzo did, to now.. And why haven't you've tried visiting along the time you were alive or something."
She let's out a sigh and sits down on the edge of her bed, facing him with a confused face and many other emotions mixed together.

"It's a long story, so you might want to make yourself comfortable."
Genji took a deep breath and let it out again as he prepared to tell his story.

Btw, I know you said that Shinju and Genji get together in your fic, but would it be possible to keep shipping out of our rp? It would probably be easier

Like, could we have it that Shinju and Genji aren't a couple or anything like that? I prefer not to have romance in rps. Maybe she could have been with him in the past or something?
I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your story or anything like that, I just think it would be better if the rp we're doing was separate to it.

But romance in rps is what makes them fun. I mean, shit. All my rps have a form of romance in it. But yeah, in the story they were together from age 23 till Genji's death, and more further in the story they have to steadily build that relationship back up since Genji is a cyborg then.
Well, what ideas do you have then

I just don't do romance in my rps. I'm really sorry, it's just that we both ship Genji with different people and I don't wanna cause conflict or anything like that. Rps are meant to be fun after all. Shinju and Genji obviously know each other really well, but I don't know if it would be a good idea if they were actually a couple in this rp.
As I said, I'm not trying to change your story. Hell, I always keep my rps as Genji separate to the fics I write. They don't affect my fanfics in any way. Maybe Shinju and Genji could be close friends or something? It's likely they haven't seen each other in a while and they'd need to get to know each other again.
