Ahaha yeah... you got it right!
And what you said is very true...I wasn't saying that drawing anime is a bad thing.. I'm just noticing a lot of it coming in to DA. And it kinda bothers me because most people are just copying other pictures and not creating their own. And I totally agree that drawing anime is an excellent way to start, because most of it is quite simplistic.
Personally I like anime and I watch lots of it! lol I have been since I was a little kid!

I know what you meat in the thread, I have been drawing anime-like images for lots of years, but now my style is more realistic (not my words ) and I´m much happier with it. However, lots of people like anime, and that´s a good reason for them to start drawing, so I can´t say it´s wrong. Something that encourages a person to do art, no matter if it is photography, writting poems or drawing anime pics, must be for sure a good thing.
Someone told me to love art before myself, and I believe in it.

And I know that eye! That´s Amy Lee´s eye, right? I got ya.
